Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan : 1) Karakteristik kasus Anak Berkonflik dengan Hukum (ABH) yaitu jenis kelamin, usia, domisili, tingkat pendidikan, keterlibatan pelaku, status hubungan pelaku dengan korban, TKP (Tempat Kejadian Perkara); 2) Jenis tindak kriminalitas dan motif anak melakukan tindak kriminalitas pada pemberitaan Kompas Online Tahun 2016-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif deskriptif berjenis Analisis Isi, dengan total sampling, dari populasi sebanyak 106 kasus. Unit analisis dan obyek penelitian adalah keseluruhan berita terkait Anak Berkonflik dengan Hukum pada Kompas Online periode Tahun 2016-2018. Tahap analisisnya yaitu mengumpulkan berita, pengkodingan data, pengolahan data dengan SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) yang disajikan dengan tabel ditribusi frekuensi, diagram, poligon, dan pie chart. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaku didominasi anak Laki-laki dengan rentang usia 15-18 tahun, dan mayoritas berdomisili di wilayah Jawa Barat. Tingkat pendidikan pelaku didominasi pelajar SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) atau sederajat serta dalam melakukan aksinya mayoritas dilakukan secara berkelompok. Dilihat dari status hubungan pelaku dengan korban didominasi oleh teman. Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP) mayoritas terjadi di jalan raya, gang sepi, rumah kosong, tempat parkiran, pasar, dan lain-lain. Adapun jenis tindak kriminalitas yang sering dilakukan adalah pembunuhan. Motif sebagian besar adalah ikut-ikutan dan coba-coba.

Research objectives to describe : 1) The characteristics cases of Children in Conflict with the Law are gender, age, domicile, level of education, involvement of the perpetrator, relationship status of the perpetrator with the victim, the scene of the case; 2) The type of crime and the motive of the child committing a crime in the 2016-2018 Kompas Online coverage. This research used descriptive quantitative manifold Content Analisys, with total sampling, from a population of 106 cases. The analysis unit and object of research is the news content about Children in Conflict with the Law on Kompas Online for the 2016-2018 Period. The analysis phase is using news, data coding, data processing with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) which is presented with frequency distribution tables, diagrams, polygons, and pie charts. The result showed that the perpetrators were dominated by boys with a range of age 15-18 years, and the majority were domiciled in the West Jawa region. The education level of the perpetrator is dominated by High School Students and in doing the action the majority of the actions carried out in groups. Judging from the status of the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim is dominated by friends. Majority crime scene occur on highways, quiet alleys, vacant houses, parking lots, markets, etc. The type of crime that often done is murder. The motive is mostly to join in with friends and try.
