Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Januari sampai dengan 28 Januari 2019 di Kecamatan Baturraden Kabupaten Banyumas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1). Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi terhadap produksi sapi perah di Kecamatan Baturaden; 2). Mengetahui efisiensi penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi pada usaha peternakan sapi perah di Kecamatan Baturaden. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei. Metode penetapan sampel wilayah dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu dipilih Kecamatan Baturraden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode sensus terhadap 55 ekor sapi perah laktasi. Faktor-faktor produksi yang mempengaruhi produksi susu ( jumlah kepemilikan ternak, pakan hijauan, pakan konsentrat, tenaga kerja, periode laktasi, lama beternak, dan luas kandang) dianalisis menggunakan fungsi produksi cobb-Douglas, sedangkan efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi dianalisis dengan efisiensi harga. Hasil penelitian memunjukkan bahwa 1). Produksi dipengaruhi oleh ( pakan konsentrat, tenaga kerja, dan kandang); 2). Penggunaan pakan konsentrat dan luas kandang tidak efisien, sedangkan penggunaan tenaga kerja belum efisien. Penggunaan pakan konsentrat secara kuantitatif melebihi dari standar, secara kualitatif belum ada penelitian yang pasti, penggunaan kandang perlu dioptimalkan dengan menambah jumlah ternak, dan tenaga kerja perlu ditingkatkan kualitas kerjanya.

This research was held on January until 28 January 2019 in Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency.The Purpose of this research was 1). To know the effect of the use production factors on dairy cow production in Baturraden District; 2). To know the efficiency of the use of production factors in a dairy farming business. This research was conducted with survey method. The area sampling method was carried out with purposive sampling technique that is Baturraden District was selected. The sampling technique carried out with census method for 55 lactation cows. Regression function of Cob-Douglass model was used analysis to determine the production factors which influenced milk production (number of livestock ownership, grass feed, concentrate feed, labor, lactation period, daily farming experience, and cage area), while efficient of the use production factors used analysis allocative efficiency. The result show that 1). Partially, the used of production factors (concentrate feed, labor, and cage area) significant effect (P<0,01 and P<0,05) which influenced milk production, while number of livestock ownership, grass feed, lactation period, and daily farming experience no significant effect. 2). The result of allocative efficiency test showed that concentrate feed and cage area not efficient, while labor have not efficient. The used of production factors have not achieved  efficiency, and the need to add and substract its used to be efficient.  The use of quantitative concentate feed more than standar, qualtatively there is still no definitive research, the use of cages needs to be optimizedby increasing the number of livestock, and the quality of workforce needs to be improved.
