DAMPAK PENERAPAN PERATURAN MENTERI PENDIDIKAN DAN KEBUDAYAAN NOMOR 23 TAHUN 2017 TENTANG HARI SEKOLAH PADA KELELAHAN EMOSIONAL GURU DAN KONSEKUENSINYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelelahan emosional yang diprediksi muncul akibat penerapan kebijakan 5 hari kerja,dan kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen afektif guru. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMP negeri di Kota Purwokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan 94 responden yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling method. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kelelahan emosional tidak berpengaruh negatid terhadap komitmen afektif, (2) Kelelahan emosional tidak berpengaruh negatid kepada kepuasan kerja, (3) Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen afektif, dan (4) Kepuasan kerja tidak memediasi hubungan antara kelelahan emosional dengan komitmen afektif. Implikasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini adalah pihak sekolah yang bersangkutan mengadakan aktivitas/kegiatan yang berfungsi untuk menekan tingkat kelelahan yang dialami oleh guru agar tetap pada titik terendah. Aktivitas/kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan kesegaran rohani dan jasmani serta sistem non-financial reward akan meningkatkan kepuasan serta komitmen afektif guru dalam bekerja. Dengan adanya kebijakan-kebijakan yang terus diperbarui dalam kurikulum yang berlaku, sosialisasi dan pencerdasan materi kebijakan harus tetap diberikan kepada guru secara bertahap agar mereka menguasai materi-materi yang harus dikerjakan.

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional fatigue that is predicted to arise due to the application of 5 working days policy, and job satisfaction to teacher's affective commitment. Respondents in this study were teachers of state junior high schools in the city of Purwokerto. This study used 94 respondents who were determined using purposive sampling method. Based on the results of research and data analysis using the SPSS application (Statistical Product and Service Solution) shows that: (1) Emotional fatigue does not have a negative effect on affective commitment, (2) Emotional fatigue does not negatively affect job satisfaction, (3) Job satisfaction has a positive effect towards affective commitment, and (4) Job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between emotional fatigue and affective commitment. The implication based on the results of this study is that the school concerned holds an activity that serves to reduce the level of fatigue experienced by the teacher to remain at its lowest point. Activities related to spiritual and physical freshness and non-financial reward systems will increase the satisfaction and affective commitment of teachers in work. With the existence of policies that are constantly updated in the applicable curriculum, socialization and intelligence on policy materials must be given to teachers gradually so that they have sufficient knowledge of the material that must be done.
