ANALISIS PENGARUH AGENCY COST, FREE CASH FLOW, LIKUIDITAS, LEVERAGE, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN LQ45

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh agency cost, free cash flow, likuiditas, leverage, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam indeks LQ45 pada tahun 2013-2017. Penelitian juga menganalisis pengaruh free cash flow terhadap agency cost untuk membuktikan teori keagenan mengenai free cash flow. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 20 perusahaan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif bersifat asosiatif dengan teknik analisis regresi data panel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa agency cost dan leverage berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja keuangan. Ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja keuangan. Likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan. Free cash flow tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan akan tetapi berpengaruh positif terhadap agency cost.

This study aims to analyze the effect of agency cost, free cash flow, liquidity, leverage, and firm size on financial performance in companies listed in the LQ45 index in 2013-2017. The study also analyzed the effect of free cash flow on agency cost to prove agency theory regarding free cash flow. The sample of this study were 20 companies selected using purposive sampling technique. Type of this research is associative quantitative with panel data regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that agency cost and leverage negatively affect financial performance. Firm size has a positive effect on financial performance. Liquidity does not affect financial performance. Free cash flow has no effect on financial performance but has a positive effect on agency cost.
