Penelitian ini berjudul “Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri kecil pakaian jadi di Kota Bogor”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja pada Industri kecil pakaian jadi di Kota Bogor. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilik usaha industri kecil pakaian jadi di Kota Bogor. Jumlah responden yang diambil dari penelitian ini adalah 55 unit usaha. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dengan bantuan program SPSS Statistic version 20.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) variabel modal dan nilai produksi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja industri kecil pakaian jadi di Kota Bogor, (2) variabel tingkat upah dan tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja industri kecil pakaian jadi di Kota Bogor. Dalam penelitian ini variabel nilai produksi merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja industri kecil pakaian jadi di Kota Bogor.
Implikasi dari penelitian ini bagi pemilik usaha industri pakaian jadi perlu meningkatkan kualitas produksi dan menambah alat produksinya sehingga nilai produksinya dapat meningkat dan mengawasi para tenaga kerja sehingga para tenaga kerja agar lebih produktif yang membuat nilai produksi semakin meningkat. Selain itu, pemilik industri juga dapat menambah modal dengan pinjaman kredit dari bank atau koperasi dan mengembangkan usahanya sehinga dapat menambah jumlah unit yang akan memberikan dampak pada penyerapan tenaga kerja yang lebih banyak lagi. Bagi pemerintah memberikan bantuan permodalan terhadap industri kecil pakaian jadi sehingga para pemilik industri kecil pakaian jadi dapat mengembangkan usahanya dan dapat menyerap tenaga kerja yang lebih banyak.

This research is entitled "Factors that affect employment in the small clothing industry in the city of Bogor". This study aims to find out and analyze the factors that affect employment in the small clothing industry in the city of Bogor. This type of research uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The population used in this study is the owner of a small clothing industry in the city of Bogor. The number of respondents taken from this study were 55 business units. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method with the help of the SPSS Statistics version 20 program.
The results showed that (1) the variable capital and production value had a positive and significant effect on the employment of small apparel industries in the city of Bogor, (2) the wage level and education level variables did not affect the labor absorption of small apparel industries in the city of Bogor. In this study the variable value of production is the variable that most influences the employment of small-scale apparel industries in the city of Bogor. The implications of this study for business owners of the apparel industry need to improve the quality of production and increase production equipment so that the production value can increase and supervise the workforce so that the workforce is more productive which makes the value of production increase. In addition, industrial owners can also increase capital with credit loans from banks or cooperatives and develop their businesses so that they can increase the number of units that will have an impact on more employment. For the government to provide capital assistance to small apparel industries so that small garment industry owners can develop their businesses and can absorb more workers.
