Koperasi Peternak Satria (PESAT) Banyumas merupakan satu-satunya koperasi yang bergerak di bidang agribisnis peternakan sapi perah, yang menghimpun para peternak sapi di Wilayah Banyumas. Koperasi PESAT sudah berdiri sejak tahun 1987 dan berhasil meningkatkan skala usaha koperasinya dan mampu bertahan dari berbagai kendala hingga saat ini. Namun, keberhasilan koperasi tidak diikuti dengan keberhasilan kepemilikan sapi anggotanya. Anggota koperasi masih banyak yang memiliki sapi perah 1-2 ekor saja, sementara kepemilikan yang ideal untuk bisa menjadi sumber pendapatan yaitu 10 ekor sapi laktasi. Hal ini terjadi diduga karena ketidak mampuan koperasi dalam menggunakan modal kerjanya dan alokasi laba yang tidak berpihak kepada peningkatan skala usaha ternak anggota. Penelitian bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui tingkat efisiensi penggunaan modal kerja koperasi 2) mengetahui bagaimana alokasi penggunaan laba koperasi dalam upaya peningkatan skala usaha ternak anggota.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey. Penelitian dilakukan di Koperasi Peternak Satria (PESAT) Banyumas terletak di Jl. Raya Karangkemiri Km 6, Desa Karangkemiri, Kecamatan Karanglewas, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2018-Oktober 2018. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Analisis Deskriptif, Analisis Efisiensi Modal Kerja, dan Alokasi Laba Koperasi PESAT. 
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koperasi tidak efisien dalam penggunaan modal kerjanya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rentabilitas ekonomi dan rentabilitas modal sendiri. Nilai rentabilitas ekonomi Koperasi PESAT berada di bawah 6%, sehingga dinyatakan tidak efisien. Nilai rentabilitas modal sendiri Koperasi PESAT berada di bawah 10%, sehingga dinyatakan tidak efisien. Alokasi laba koperasi yang digunakan untuk pengembangan usaha ternak anggota sebesar 75% dari total dana cadangan yang tersedia. Sementara dana cadangan berasal dari 25% laba yang diperoleh Koperasi PESAT.

The breeder Satria Cooperative (PESAT) Banyumas is the only cooperative engaged in the dairy farming agribusiness, which brings together cattle farmers in the Banyumas Region. PESAT Cooperative has been established since 1987 and managed to increase the scale of its cooperative business and be able to withstand various obstacle to date. However, the success of the cooperative wasn’t followed by the success of the ownership of its member cows. There are still many cooperative members who have only 1-2 cows, while the ideal ownership can be a source of income, namely 10 lactating cows. This happens suspected because of the inability of cooperative to use their working capital and profit allocations that do not favor for the increase in the scale of members livestock business. The research aims to : 1) Findout the level of efficiency of the use of cooperative working capital; 2) To findout hoe the allocation of the use of cooperative profits in an effort to increase the scale of livestock member business.
The research method used is a survey. The study was conducted at the Satria Breeders Cooperative (PESAT) Banyumas located on Karangkemiri Street Km 6 Karangkemiri Village, Karanglewas District, Banyumas Regency. The study was conducted in July 2018 – October 2018. Analysis of the data used was Descriptive Analysis, Efficiency Analysis of Working Capital, and Profit Allocation of PESAT Cooperatives.
The results of the study show that cooperative aren’t efficient in the use of working capital. This is evidenced by the value of economic rentability of The PESAT Cooperative is below 6%, so it’s declared inefficient. Value of own capital profitability The PESAT Cooperative is below 10%, so it’s declared inefficient. Allocation of cooperative profits used for developing member livestock business is 75% of the total available reserve funds. While the reserve fund comes from 25% of the profits obtained by The PESAT Cooperative.
