Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang bagaimana perilaku memilih Masyarakat Betawi Kristen Kampung Sawah pada Pemilukada Kota Bekasi Tahun 2012 yang ada di wilayah Kampung Sawah Kecamatan Pondok Melati Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengumpulan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling dengan memilih informan berdasarkan rekomendasi informan kunci.
Hasil dari penelitian ini, pada Pemilukada Kota Bekasi Tahun 2012 terdapat 5 pasang calon walikota yang mencalonkan diri. Di wilayah Kampung Sawah, hasil perhitungan suara menunjukkan pasangan incombent Rachmat Effendi – Ahmad Syaikhu yang diusung partai Golkar dan PKS berhasil memperoleh suara terbanyak. Dengan hasil ini, menunjukan bahwa masyarakat wilayah Kampung Sawah yang dihuni oleh agama mayoritas betawi kristen belum tentu memberikan pilihan suara kepada pasangan Sumiyati dan Amim Imamuddin yang didukung oleh partai beraliran kristen yaitu Partai Damai Sejahtera (PDS). Di wilayah Kampung Sawah terdapat 3 jenis pemilih yaitu pemilih rasional, kritis dan tradisional. mayoritas pemilih disini merupakan pemilih rasional. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku memilih di wilayah Kampung Sawah antara lain faktor pemerintah, faktor penyelenggara pemilu, faktor partai politik, terbentuknya antusiasme, kondisi geografis, tokoh masyarakat dan pemuka agama, peran media massa, peran kandidat, dan faktor sosial budaya.

This research describes how the behavior of the political Society of the Christian Kampung Sawah Betawi Pemilukada Kota Bekasi in the Year 2012 in the Kampung Sawah Jasmine Cottage subdistrict of Jakarta. The region has a uniqueness about the mix of religion and cultural elements into one. This region is one of the kampung pilot diversity and religious harmony which exists in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with approach case studies. Data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation study. The collection of purposive sampling technique using informants and snowball sampling by selecting informants based on key informant recommendations.
The results of this research, in the town of Bekasi Pemilukada Year 2012 there are 5 pairs of would-be mayors who ran. In Kampong Sawah, vote results showed the couple incombent Rachmat Effendi – Ahmad Syaikhu carried partai Golkar and PKS successfully obtained the most votes, followed by the second-order by Sumiyati and Amim Imammudin carried by DESIGN, the United Nations and the PDS. With this result, showing that the community of Kampung Sawah region inhabited by a majority of the Christian religion were not necessarily giving a voice to the choice of spouse Sumiyati Imamuddin Amim and backed by the party of British Christian Peace Party Prosperous (PDS). In the area of Kampung Sawah there are 3 kinds of voters that is rational, critical and picky. the majority of the voters here is rational. There are several factors that affect the behavior of select in Kampong Sawah, among other factors, the Government election organizers, the formation of political parties, the enthusiasm, the geographical condition, public figures and religious leaders, the role the mass media, the role of the candidate, and socio-cultural factors.
