PENGARUH PELATIHAN KADER POSYANDU TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DALAM DETEKSI DINI PERKEMBANGAN BALITA

Latar Belakang : Masalah penyimpangan perkembangan balita bervariasi. Departemen kesehatan RI melaporkan 0,4 juta (16%) balita Indonesia mengalami gangguan perkembangan, baik perkembangan motorik halus dan kasar, gangguan pendengaran, kecerdasan kurang dan keterlambatan bicara. Deteksi dini penyimpangan sangat penting untuk dapat melakukan intervensi secara tepat guna sehingga proses tumbuh kembang selanjutnya dapat berlangsung optimal. Posyandu merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam optimalisasi kualitas balita. Peran kader dalam posyandu sangat penting. Kader sebagai orang yang paling dekat dengan masyarakat dalam hal mengurusi tumbuh kembang balita. Tidak ada syarat khusus seperti memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang memadai di bidang gizi dan kesehatan untuk menjalankan tugas sebagai kader, sehingga penting untuk dilakukan pelatihan kader untuk mengoptimalkan peran kader dalam masyarakat. Tujuan : Memberikan pelatihan kader posyandu serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kader posyandu terhadap pengetahuan dalam deteksi dini perkembangan balita. Metode : Design penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimental komunitas dengan rancangan one group pre and post test design. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 37 orang diambil dengan metode total sampling. Data pengetahuan kader diambil menggunakan kuesioner pre test dan post test. Analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil : Hasil uji Wilcoxon didapatkan p = 0.004 (p<0.05) secara statistik menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pelatihan kader posyandu terhadap pengetahuan dalam deteksi dini perkembangan balita. Kesimpulan : Pelatihan kader posyandu dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan kader dalam deteksi dini perkembangan balita.

Background : Abnormality of development of children under five years old varies. Health Department of Indonesia reports 0,4 million (16%) of children under five years old undergo development abnormality such as fine motor, gross motor, hearing defect, cognitive disturbance, and speech delay. Early detection of developmental delay is important to do appropriate intervention and reach their optimum growth and development. Posyandu were formed by government to optimize the quality of children. The role of kader in Posyandu is important, as person who is close to community. There is no special requirement such as should have knowledge and competency in nutrition and helath do be a kader, so training for kader has important role to optimize their role in community. Aims : Give training for kader of Posyandu and to know the effect of training of kader to knowledge in early detection of children development. Method : Study design of this study was community experimental with one group pre and post test design. Thirty seven of subjects included in this study by total sampling method. Level of knowledge of kader were measured by using pre test and post test questionnaire. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test. Result : From Wilcoxon test, p=0,004 (p<0,05) was statistically significant showed there were effects of training for kader to their knowledge in early detection of children under five development. Conclusion : Kader training can increase knowledge of kader of Posyandu in early detection of children under five development.
