EFEKTIVITAS PESTISIDA NABATI EKSTRAK DAUN BENGKUANG (Pachyrrhizus erosus (L.) TERHADAP HAMA ULAT GRAYAK (Spodoptera litura)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun bengkuang terhadap mortalitas larva ulat grayak, aktivitas makan (palatabilitas), dan perkembangan larva ulat grayak. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu Hama Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, pada bulan November 2018 sampai dengan bulan Januari 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba adalah ekstrak daun bengkuang P0 (0%), P1 (20%0, P2 (40%), P3 (60%), dan P4 (80%). Variabel yang diamati meliputi mortalitas S. litura, palatabilitas, lama instar larva, jumlah pupa, dan nilai efikasi. Data mortalitas dianalisis dengan mengggunakan analisis probit. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) perlakuan ekstrak daun bengkuang konsentrasi 80% mampu menyebabkan mortalitas larva S.litura 98% pada pengamatan 72 JSA, 2) pemberian ekstrak daun bengkuang konsentrasi 60 dan 80% mampu menurunkan tingkat palatabilitas S.litura 92% 3) pemberian ekstrak daun bengkuang mampu menekan perkembangan larva S.litura sebesar 82% pada konsentrasi 80%. This research was aimed to know the effect of application of yam leaf (Pachyrhizus erosus (L.) extract on the mortality, pallatability and the development of armyworm (S. litura) larvae. This research was conducted in Plant Pest Science Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, from November 2018 to Januari 2018. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments which used were yam leaf extract P0 (0%), P1 (20%0, P2 (40%), P3 (60%), dan P4 (80%). The variables observed included the mortality of S. litura, palatability, number of pupae, long period of larvae, and efficacy value Data mortality were analyzed by probit analyze by probit analiyze. The results showed that 1) the application of yam leaf extract by concentration of 80% can causes mortality of S.litura 98% on 72 hours after the application, 2) the application of yam leaf extract by concentration of 60% and 80% was able to reduce the level of palatability of S.litura 92% 3) the application of yam leaf extract of S. litura by concentration of 80% was able to inhibit the development of 82%.
