HUBUNGAN ANTARA LINGKAR PAHA DAN PANJANG PAHA DENGAN BOBOT BADAN SAPI BALI KUPANG YANG DI PELIHARA SECARA INTENSIF

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui lingkar paha dan panjang paha serta bobot badan pada sapi Bali Kupang yang di pelihara secara intensif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Peternakan bapak Suprapto, desa Dawuhan, Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat, kabupaten Banyumas. Materi penelitian yaitu sapi Bali Kupang sebanyak 30 ekor. Alat yang di gunakan yaitu alat ukur metline, timbangan dengan merk FX1, metode penelitian yang di lakukan dengan metode survei. Variabel yang di ukur adalah lingkar paha, panjang paha, dan bobot badan sapi Bali Kupang yang di pelihara secara intensif. sumber data berasal dari hasil penimbangan sapi, dan pengukuran lingkar paha dan panjang paha sapi Bali Kupang. Hasil analisis variansi berganda menunjukan hubungan antara lingkar paha dan panjang paha dengan bobot badan sangat nyata (P<0,01) mengikuti persamaan BB = 66,21 + 1,39 LP + 0,62 PP, dengan nilai korelasi (r=0,98) dan nilai korelasi (r2 =0,97). variasi ukuran lingkar dan panjang paha terhadap bobot badan sebesar 97 persen, sedangakan sisanya 3 persen dapat di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

The aims of the experiment to determine thigh circumference (TC) and thighs length (TL) and body weight (BW) in Bali Kupang cattle that are intensively maintained. This research was carried out in the farm of Mr. Suprapto, Dawuhan village, West Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. The research materials used were 30 heads of Bali Kupang cattle. The tools used are metline measuring devices, FX1 brand scales. The research methods that are carried out by survey methods. The variables measured were thigh circumference, thigh length, and Bali Kupang cattle body weight which were intensively maintained. The source of data came from the results of weighing cattle, and measurements of thigh circumference and thigh length of Bali Kupang cattle. The results of multiple variance analysis show that the relationship between thigh circumference and thigh length is a highly significant different with body weight (P <0.01) following the equation BW = 66.21 + 1.39 TC + 0.62 TL, with a value of r= 0, 98 and r2 = 0.97. Variations in size of thigh circumference and thigh length against body weight by 97 percent, while the remaining 3 percent can be influenced by other variables.
