Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkar dada dan indeks kebapuhan dengan bobot tubuh Domba Batur muda jantan.  Materi yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah Domba Batur muda jantan umur 6-12 bulan sebanyak 34 ekor.  Variabel yang diukur adalah Lingkar Dada, Lingkar Paha, Panjang Paha, Indeks Kebapuhan dan Bobot Badan. Penentuan sampel desa berdasarkan strata populasi domba Batur. Peneliti mengambil 3 desa dari 8 desa secara keseluruhan. Tiga desa terpilih sebagai objek penelitian yaitu Desa Pesurenan, Pekasiran, dan Karangtengah. Pengambilan data ukuran bobot tubuh dan linear tubuh dilakukan dengan cara sensus. Data dianalisis dengan korelasi dan regresi berganda.  Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa indeks kebapuhan dan panjang paha tidak berpengaruh terhadap bobot tubuh Domba Batur muda jantan (P>0,05). Tetapi berdasarkan analisis, terdapat hubungan antara lingkar dada dan lingkar paha dengan bobot tubuh Domba Batur muda jantan (P<0,01) dengan koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,965 dan koefien determinasi (r2) = 0,930 atau 93,0 %.  Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, bobot tubuh Domba Batur muda jantan mempunyai hubungan yang sangat erat (positif) dengan ukuran lingkar dada dan lingkar paha.

This research aims to know the relationship of the circumference of the chest and kebapuhan indices with weights of the body of a young male Sheep Remains.  The material used for research is a young male Sheep Batur 6-12 months of age as much as 34 tail.  The variables measured were the circumference of chest, Thigh Circumference, length of thigh, Kebapuhan and Index Weighting. The determination of sample villages in sheep population strata Batur. Researchers took 3 villages from 8 villages in its entirety. Three villages selected as research objects i.e. the village Pesurenan, Karangtengah, and Pekasiran. Data retrieval and body weights of linear size of the body is done by means of the census. Data analyzed with correlation and multiple regression. The results of the analysis show that the index of kebapuhan thigh length and no effect on body weights of lamb Batur young males (P > 0.05). But based on the analysis, there is a relationship between the circumference of the chest and thigh circumference with body weights of lamb Batur young males (P < 0.01) with a coefficient of correlation (r) = 0.965 and koefien determination (r2) = 0.930 or 93.0%. Based on those results, the weight of the body of a young male Sheep Batur has a very tight relationship (positive) and the size of the circumference of the chest and thigh circumference.
