Perkembangan teknologi telekomunikasi terjadi sangat pesat. Pengguna layanan telekomunikasi dapat berupa perorangan maupun organisasi untuk mendapatkan suatu informasi yang dibutuhkan dengan cara yang lebih mudah dan cepat. Seiring perkembang zaman yang diawali dengan telepon, komunikasi saat ini mengarah kepada teknologi yang mendukung adanya visualisasi antar komunikator. Salah satu layanan teknologi tersebut adalah video call. Konsep dari video call sama seperti percakapan antara dua orang (point-to-point) atau melibatkan beberapa tempat berbeda (multi-point). Media video call biasa juga kita gunakan dengan koneksi internet yang tersedia saat ini, kita bisa menggunakan fitur video call yang tersedia banyak aplikasi yang tersedia saat ini dan dapat digunakan pada telepon genggam yang kita miliki maupun personal computer (PC). Untuk menghasikan komunikasi yang berkualitas diperlukan kualitas jaringan telekomunikasi yang baik. Untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringan pada jaringan telekomunikasi yang digunakan untuk melakukan video call maka penulis melakukan penelitian dengan menganalisis performansi jaringan telekomunikasi pada operator seluler dan wi-fi untuk layanan video call pada aplikasi Line. Parameter yang digunakan berupa Quality of Service (QoS) yaitu dengan menganalisis throughput, delay, jitter dan packet loss. Pengujian menggunakan perangkat lunak wireshark 2.2.2 yang dilakukan dari sisi penelepon. Hasil dari penelitian ini akan memberikan informasi terkait performansi kualitas jaringan pada 3 operator seluler dan wi-fi.

The development of telecommunications technology is happening very rapidly. Telecommunication service users can be individuals or organizations to get the information needed in an easier and faster way. Along with the development of the era which began with telephone, the current communication leads to technology that supports the visualization between communicators. One of these technology services is a video call. The concept of a video call is the same as a conversation between two people (point-to-point) or involving several different places (multi-point). We also use regular video call media with internet connections available today, we can use the video call feature that is available in many applications available today and can be used on mobile phones that we have or personal computers (PCs). To produce quality communication, a good quality telecommunications network is needed. To find out the quality of the network in the telecommunications network that is used to make video calls, the authors conduct research by analyzing the performance of telecommunications networks on cellular operators and wi-fi for video call services on Line applications. The parameters used are Quality of Service (QoS), namely by analyzing throughput, delay, jitter and packet loss. Testing uses Wireshark 2.2.2 software which is done from the side of the caller. The results of this study will provide information regarding network quality performance on 3 cellular operators and wi-fi.
