Penelitian dengan judul “Hubungan Bobot Tubuh dengan Indeks Kebapuhan dan Lingkar Dada Di Kecamatan Batur Kabupaten Banjarnegara” bertujuan mengetahui bobot tubuh, lingkar dada, indeks kebapuhan, lingkar dan panjang paha cempe domba Batur dan mengetahui hubungan antara bobot tubuh dengan indeks kebapuhan dan lingkar dada cempe domba Batur. Materi yang digunakan yaitu 145 ekor cempe domba Batur yang dipelihara peternak rakyat secara tradisional dengan umur 1-6 bulan. Metode yang digunakan survey dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Peubah yang diukur yaitu bobot tubuh, lingkar dada, lingkar dan panjang paha cempe domba Batur yang dipelihara secara Tradisional. Rataan bobot tubuh, lingkar dada, indeks kebapuhan, lingkar paha dan panjang paha cempe domba Batur sebesar 19,36 ± 5,71 kg, 63,58 ± 8,17 cm, 1,07 ± 0,14 cm,  21,43 ±  3,46 cm dan 20,09 ± 2,4 cm. Hasil penelitian, lingkar dada dengan bobot tubuh berpegaruh nyata (P<0,05), sedangkan indeks kebapuhan dengan bobot tubuh tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Kesimpulan, lingkar dada cempe domba batu dapat digunakan untuk menduga bobot tubuh sedangkan indeks kebapuhan tidak.

The study entitled "The Relationship of Body Weight with the Plumpness Index and Chest on the Batur Lamb in the Batur Subdistrict, Banjarnegara Regency". The aim of this experiment to know the measurment of body weight, chest, plumpness index, length and girth of leg, and to evaluate the relationship of body weight and plumness index and chest Batur lamb in the Batur Subdistrict, Banjarnegara Regency. The material used is 145 heads of Batur lamb which are kept by small holders with ages 1-6 months. Purposive sampling method was used in this experiment. The variables measured were body weight, chest, plumpness index, length adn girth leg of the Batur lamb which were traditionally maintained. Average body weight, chest circumference, plumness index, thigh circumference and thigh length of Batur sheep were 19.36 ± 5.71 kg, 63.58 ± 8.17 cm, 1.07 ± 0.14 cm, 21.43 ± 3.46 cm and 20.09 ± 2.4 cm. The results of the study, chest with body weight had a significantly effect (P<0.05), while the plumness index with body weight had no significantly effect (P>0.05). Conclusion, grith of Batur lambs can be used for predicting the live weight, while plumpness index can not be.
