JUMLAH TANAMAN DAN LUAS TANAH TERKANOPI PERTUMBUHAN RUMPUT SETARIA YANG DIBERI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR LIMBAH PASAR TRADISIONAL DAN WAKTU DEFOLIASI BERBEDA

Penelitian berjudul : “Jumlah Tanaman Dan Luas Tanah Terkanopi Pertumbuhan Rumput Setaria Yang Diberi Pupuk Organik Cair Limbah Pasar Tradisional Dan Waktu Defoliasi Berbeda” dilaksanakan pada Juli 2018 sampai dengan Agustus 2018 bertempat di lahan perkebunan KSM (Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat) Adipati Mersi, Kelurahan Mersi, Kecamatan Purwokerto Timur, Kabupaten Banyumas, Provinsi Jawa tengah. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penetian adalah pupuk organik cair limbah pasar tradisional sebanyak 3,25 liter dengan perlakuan I dosis pupuk cair yaitu 0:0 (kontrol), 1:1 (1,5 liter POC + 1,5 liter air), 1:2 (1 liter POC + 2 liter air), dan 1:3 (0,75 liter POC + 2,25 liter air). Perlakuan II adalah waktu defoliasi yaitu 5 minggu, 6 minggu dan 7 minggu. Terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga terdapat 36 unit perlakuan. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa dosis dan waktu defoliasi berpengaruh sangat nyata (P < 0,05) terhadap luas tanah terkanopi sedangkan analisis variansi dosis dan waktu defoliasi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan jumlah tanaman rumput Setaria splendida (P > 0,05).

The research entitled: "The Number of Planted and Covered Land Areas of the Growth of Setaria Grass Provided with Liquid Organic Fertilizer of Traditional Market Waste and Different Defoliation Times" was carried out on July 2018 until August 2018 located at the Adipati Mersi KSM (Swadaya Masyarakat) plantation, Mersi Village, East Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java Province. The material used in the penetration was traditional market waste liquid fertilizer as much as 3.25 liters with treatment I of liquid fertilizer dosage 0: 0 (control), 1: 1 (1.5 liters of POC + 1.5 liters of water), 1: 2 (1 liter POC + 2 liters of water), and 1: 3 (0.75 liters of POC + 2.25 liters of water). The second treatment was defoliation time which was 5 weeks, 6 weeks and 7 weeks. There were 12 treatment combinations which repeated 3 times, so there were 36 treatment units. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the dose and time of defoliation had a very significant effect (P <0.05) on the widening of the canopy area while the analysis of dose variance and defoliation time had no significant effect on the number of Setaria splendida grass plants (P> 0.05).
