ABSTRAK
Pada tingkat Kepolisian Resor, kegiatan penyidikan pada tahap identifikasi olah Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP) dilakukan oleh penyidik bersama Unit Identifikasi. Peran Unit Identifikasi sangat penting dalam mengungkap suatu tindak pidana atau kejahatan. Unit identifikasi melakukan pengungkapan tindak pidana melalui fakta-fakta yang ditemukan di Tempat Kejadian Perkara. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Unit Identifikasi dalam proses penyidikan untuk mengungkap tindak pidana pembunuhan berencana, hambatan yang dihadapi Unit Identifikasi dalam proses penyidikan untuk mengungkap tindak pidana pembunuhan berencana serta apa saja faktor penghambat . 
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis sosiologis, spesifikasi penelitian adalah deskriptif, sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder, metode pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan studi kepustakaan, serta metode analisis data menggunakan kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Peranan Unit Identifikasi dalam proses penyidikan untuk mengungkap tindak pidana pembunuhan berencana yaitu melakukan olah TKP untuk menemukan petunjuk. Hambatan yang dihadapi penyidik saat melakukan identifikasi olah TKP dalam penyidikan tindak pidana pembunuhan yaitu : berubahnya status quo TKP dan sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai.

ROLE OF THE IDENTIFICATION UNIT IN THE EDUCATION PROCESS TO REVEAL THE CRIMINAL ACTION OF PLANNING KILLING
(STUDY IN PURBALINGGA POLICE STATION)

ABSTRACT
At the level of the Resort Police, investigation activities at the identification stage if the crime scene (TKP) is carried out by investigators with the Identification Unit. The role of the Identification Unit is very important in disclosing a punishment or crime. The identification unit conducts disclosures of criminal acts through the facts found in the Case Events. The study aims to determine the role of the Identification Unit in the investigation process to uncover criminal acts of premeditated murder, obstacles faced by the Identification Unit in the investigation process to uncover criminal acts of premeditated murder and what are the inhibiting factors.
The research method used is sociological juridical, research specifications are descriptive, the data sources used are primary data and secondary data, data collection methods are interviews and literature studies, and methods of data analysis using qualitative.
The results of the study show that the role of the Identification Unit in the investigation process to uncover criminal acts of premeditated murder is to conduct crime scenes to find clues. Obstacles faced by investigators when identifying crime scene in investigating criminal acts of murder are: changing status quo TKP and inadequate facilities and infrastructure.
