Kode etik jurnalistik dibentuk sebagai landasan moral dan etika bagi para wartawan dalam menjalankan tugas jurnalistiknya. Kode etik wajib dipahami dan dilaksanakan oleh wartawan. Namun pada praktiknya, masih banyak wartawan yang tidak menerapkan bahkan melanggar aturan yang ada didalam kode etik jurnalistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana wartawan SatelitPost memaknai Kode Etik Jurnalistik Pasal 2 serta penerapan dalam tugas jurnalistiknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman. 
Hasil penelitian wartawan SatelitPost memaknai kode etik jurnalistik sebagai pegangan hukum, norma atau aturan, dan pelindung bagi wartawan ketika melaksanakan tugas jurnalistik. Namun ada beberapa aturan yang tertera didalam kode etik yang dianggap kabur. Selain itu, penerapan kode etik jurnalistik ternyata belum sepenuhnya diterapkan oleh wartawan SatelitPost. Kemudian masih ditemukan isu-isu sensitif seperti praktik suap dan cara wartawan memperoleh berita faktual.

The journalistic code of ethics is formed as a moral and ethical foundation for journalists in carrying out their journalistic duties. The code of ethics must be understood and carried out by journalists. But in practice, there are still many journalists who do not implement or even violate the rules that contained in the journalistic code of ethics. This study aims to find out how the reporters of SatelitPost interpret the Article 2 Journalistic Code of Ethics and the application of journalistic tasks. This study uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The informant selection technique uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model. 
The results of the research show that the SatellitePost journalist interpret the journalistic code of ethics as a guide to law, norms or rules, and a protector for journalists when carrying out journalistic tasks. But there are some rules contained in the code of ethics that are considered vague. In addition, the application of the journalistic code of ethics was not fully implemented by the SatelitPost journalists. Then sensitive issues were found, such as bribery and the way journalists received factual news.
