THE IMPACT OF THE RITA PASARAYA SUPERMALL EXISTENCE AND THE INFLUENCING FACTORS ON THE INCOME OF THE STREET VENDORS IN PURWOKERTO SQUARES

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pendapatan pedagang kaki lima di Alun-alun Purwokerto sebelum dan sesudah Rita Pasaraya Supermall didirikan dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modal, jam kerja, lama usaha, harga, dan jumlah konsumen terhadap pendapatan jalan. vendor di Alun-alun Purwokerto. Data diambil dari 56 pedagang PKL di Alun-alun Purwokerto kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji beda dan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil uji beda menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan pendapatan pedagang kaki lima di Alun-alun Purwokerto sebelum dan sesudah pendirian Rita Pasaraya Supermall. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa modal, harga dan jumlah konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan pedagang kaki lima. Sementara jam kerja dan lama bisnis tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan PKL. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah semua pihak yang berkepentingan seperti pemerintah dan para pedagang sendiri harus menjaga peningkatan pendapatan, sehingga kesejahteraan warga kecil mungkin terjaga. Pemerintah perlu mendukung sepenuhnya keberadaan usaha kecil yang berjalan di Alun-alun Purwokerto, dan PKL sendiri perlu meningkatkan jumlah modal, menentukan harga seefisien mungkin, dan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik bisnis.

The aims of this research is to analyze the income of street vendors in Purwokerto Square before and after Rita Pasaraya Supermall was established and to analyze the effect of capital, working hours, length of business, price, and number of consumers on the income of street vendors in Purwokerto Square. The data taken from 56 traders of street vendors at Purwokerto Square then analyzed using different test and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The result of different test indicates that there are differences in income of street vendors in Purwokerto Square before and after the establishment of Rita Pasaraya Supermall. The result of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis indicated that capital, price and the number of consumers have positive and significant effect on the income of street vendors. Meanwhile working hours and length of business have no positive and significant effect on the income of street vendors. The implications of this research are all parties concerned such as the government and the traders themselves should maintain the increase the income, so that the welfare of the small citizen maybe maintained. The government needs to fully support the existence of small businesses running in the Purwokerto Square, and the street vendors themselves need to increase the amount of capital, determine prices as efficiently as possible, and to increase business attractiveness.
