STUDI ANGKUTAN SEDIMEN SEJAJAR PANTAI ( LONGSHORE TRANSPORT ) DI PANTAI KABUPATEN CILACAP, JAWA TENGAH

Angkutan sedimen sejajar pantai sangat dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik gelombang dan arus sejajar pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prediksi angkutan sedimen sejajar pantai, laju sedimentasi dan hubungan antara karakteristik gelombang terhadap angkutan sedimen sejajar pantai di Kabupaten Cilacap. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey langsung. Data angin diperoleh dari ECMWF serta dianalisis untuk memperoleh data karakteristik gelombang dan arus sejajar pantai yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk memprediksi angkutan sedimen sejajar pantai. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu prediksi angkutan sedimen sejajar pantai berkisar antara 69.815 m3/hari - 47466.373 m3/hari. Pengaruh karakteristik gelombang terhadap prediksi angkutan sedimen sejajar pantai adalah korelasi cukup di sel 6, 7, dan 8, korelasi tinggi di sel 2, 3, 4, 5 dan 9 dan di sel 1 korelasi sangat tinggi. Nilai korelasi menunjukan semakin tinggi gelombang pecah (Hb) maka angkutan prediksi angkutan sedimen sejajar pantai juga semakin tinggi.

Longshore transport influenced by wave characteristics and longshore current in coastal area. The purpose of this research was to find out the prediction of longshore transport, sedimentation rate, and the relation between wave characteristics to longshore sediment transport in Cilacap Regency. The method used in this research was field observation. The wind data obtained from ECMWF and analyzed became wave characteristic and coastal current data which used to predict sediment transport. The result showed the prediction of longshore transport range from 69,815 m3/day - 47466,373 m3/day. The relationship between the height to breakwave with the prediction of longshore transport, the correlation was sufficient in cells 6, 7, and 8, the correlation was high in cells 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9 and the correlation was very high in cell 1. The correlation became higher if the wave break height (Hb) and the prediction of longshore has the same value.
