Proses komunikasi menjadi kebutuhan yang penting dalam suatu komunikasi yang terjadi. Proses komunikasi antara kader anggota Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dengan ibu balita mengenai permasalahan kesehatan balita menjadi peran penting.  Kader anggota PKK tidak harus selalu menjadi pihak yang dominan yang berperan sebagai pemberi informasi, kader anggota PKK harusnya dapat memberikan interaksi yang kondusif agar terjadinya partisipasi aktif dari ibu balita. Proses komunikasi dalam PKK di Desa Pliken, tekadang kader anggota PKK selaku komunikator tidak dapat menyampaikan pesannya dengan efektif karena ibu balita tidak memahami informasi yang disampaikan oleh kader PKK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses komunikasi pada Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga dalam kesehatan balita di Desa Pliken Kecamatan Kembaran Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kulitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganlisis data menggunakan analisis data model interaktif Mills and Huberman yang terdiri dari tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajiian data dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Proses komunikasi antara kader anggota Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dengan ibu balita diketahui berdasarkan hasil penelitan bahwa berjalan dengan efektif dimana komunikator yaitu kader PKK dengan komunikator yaitu Ibu Balita dapat menerima informasi dengan baik dan terjadi timbal balik atau respon dari ibu balita. Dalam proses komunikasi terjadi hambatan-hambatan namun hal tersebut dapat diminimalisir dengan baik.Peneliti berharap, kader anggota PKK dengan ibu balita dalam kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan balita  dapat lebih aktif dalam menjalin komunikasi yang efektif selama kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan balita.

COMMUNICATION PROCESS ON PEMBERDAYAAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA (PKK) OF BABY HEALTH IN PLIKEN VILLAGE, KEMBARAN DISTRICT, BANYUMAS DISTRICT

The communication process becomes an important need in a communication that occurs. The communication process between the cadres of members of the PKK and mothers of baby regarding baby health issues became an important role. The cadre of PKK members does not always have to be the dominant party that acts as the informer, the cadre of PKK members should be able to provide a conducive interaction for the active participation of mothers of toddlers. The communication process in the PKK in Pliken Village, sometimes the cadre of PKK members as communicators were unable to deliver their messages effectively because mothers of toddlers did not understand the information conveyed by PKK cadres.
The purpose of this study is to find out how the communication process is at Empowerment of Family Welfare in the health of children under five in the Pliken Village, Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The technique used to analyze data using Mills and Huberman interactive model data analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presenting and conclusions or verification stages.
The communication process between members of the Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) and mothers of baby is known based on the results of research that runs effectively where communicators are PKK cadres with communics, namely mother of beby can receive information well and reciprocal responses from mother of baby. In the communication process there are obstacles but this can be minimized properly.
Researchers hope that cadres of PKK members with mothers of baby in baby health counseling activities can be more active in establishing effective communication during baby health counseling activities so that.
