ABSTRAK
Tanaman cabai rawit Capsicum frutescens L.) merupakan salah satu dari beberapa tanaman hortikultura yang potensial untuk di kembangkan. Kebutuhan akan cabai rawit terus meningkat setiap tahun sejalan dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan berkembangnya industri yang membutuhkan bahan baku cabai rawit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  1. Menganalisis total biaya produksi, peneriman dan pendapatan usahatani cabai rawit organik (Capsicum frutescens L.) di Desa Melung Kabupaten Banyumas. 2. Menganalisis efisiensi usahatani cabai rawit organik (Capsicum frutescens L.) di Desa Melung Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian di lakukan dengan metode survei yang diperoleh 30 petani. Pengambilan data di laksanakan pada bulan April sampai dengan Mei 2018. Analisis data yang di gunakan adalah analisis biaya, analisis pendapatan, analisis keuntungan, R/C ratio (Revenue Cost Ratio). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya rata-rata yang di keluarkan dalam berusahatani cabai rawit organik sebesar Rp 1.239.091,67 per 0,13 ha. Penerimaan rata-rata sebesar Rp 7.363.000,00 per 0,13 ha. Dan pendapatan/keuntungan rata-rata usahatani cabai rawit organik sebesar  Rp 6.123.908,33  per0,13 R/C (Revenue Cost Ratio 5,94. R/C > 1 berarti usahatani yang dijalankan sudah efisien, karena penerimaan yang diperoleh lebih besar dari biaya yang dikeluarkan.

ABSTRACT
Chili pepper crops (Capsicum frutescens L.) are one of various horticultural crops which potentially able to be developed. Every year, the number of chili pepper demand is always increasing along with the increasing number of the population and the development of some industries which using chili pepper as their raw material. The purposes of this research are: 1. To analyze the total production cost, and income of the organic chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) agriculture in Melung village, Banyumas. 2. To analyze the efficiency of the organic chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) agricultural in Melung village, Banyumas. this research is using case study method which obtains 30 farmers of the organic chili pepper. The data collection is done in April to May, 2018. The data analysis used in this research are cost analysis, income analysis, profit analysis, R/C ratio R/C Ratio (Revenue Cost Ratio). The result of this research states that the average cost incurred in the organic chili pepper agriculture reaches 2.268.191,67 per 0,13 ha. The average income reaches  7.363.000,00 per 0,13 ha. And the average profit reaches 5.094.808,33. R/C (Revenue Cost Ratio) The average profit reaches 3,25. R/C > 1 in conclusion, the current agriculture is efficient enough because the income is bigger than the expense.
