Tingginya perkara perceraian di Kabupaten cilacap menempatkan kabupaten Cilacap sebagai peringkat pertama dengan kasus komulatif terbanyak di Jawa Tengah. Dikabupaten Cilacap setiap tahunnya perkara perceraian yang masuk ke pengadilan agama Kabupaten cilacap selalu meningkat dari berbagai  kalangan dan profesi masyarakat. Upaya pengadilan agama kabupaten Cilacap dalam menerima, mengurus dan mengadili perkara perceraian sangat dibutuhkan dalam dalam melindungi hak-hak masyarakat yang mengajukan perceraian ke pengadilan agama kabupaten cilacap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja pengadilan agama Kabupaten Cilacap dalam menangani proses perkara perceraian dalam melakukan tindakan represif setelah putusan perkara perceraian diputuskan. Pengukuran kinerja dilihat dari lima indikator, yaitu; Produktivitas, kualitas layanan, responsivitas, responsibilitas, dan akuntabilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini dipilih melalui teknik snowball sampling.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pengadilan agama Kabupaten Cilacap dalam menangani proses perkara perceraian masih kurang optimal. Kendala utamanya yaitu keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pada serta terbatasnya sumber daya manusia yang terlibat dalam penyelesaian perkara perceraian di pengadilan agama Kabupaten Cilacap. Hal tersebut berpengaruh pada aspek produktivitas, kualitas layanan, dan responsivitas. Adapun untuk aspek responsibilitas dan akuntabilitas masih kurang baik karena kurangnya pemahaman yang diberikan oleh pengadilan agama Kabupaten Cilacap tentang perkara perceraian.

The high number of divorce cases in Cilacap Regency puts Cilacap district as the first rank with the most cumulative cases in Central Java. In the district of Cilacap every year divorce cases that enter the religious court of Cilacap Regency are always increasing from various circles and professions. The efforts of the Cilacap district religious court in accepting, taking care of and prosecuting divorce cases are needed in protecting the rights of the people who filed divorce to the Cilacap district religious court.This study aims to analyze the performance of the Cilacap District religious court in handling the divorce case process in carrying out repressive actions after the decision of the divorce case was decided. Performance measurement is seen from five indicators, namely; Productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The informants in this study were selected through snowball sampling technique.
The results showed that the performance of the Cilacap District religious court in handling divorce proceedings was still less than optimal. The main constraints are the limited facilities and infrastructure and the limited human resources involved in resolving divorce cases in the Cilacap Regency religious court. This affects the aspects of productivity, service quality, and responsiveness. As for the aspects of responsibility and accountability are still not good because of the lack of understanding given by the Cilacap Regency religious court about divorce cases.
