KADAR NDF DAN ADF KULIT KOPI YANG DIFERMENTASI MENGGUNAKAN Trichoderma viridae dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh Trichoderma viridae dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae dalam fermentasi kulit kopi terhadap kadar NDF dan ADF. Materi yang digunakan adalah kulit kopi, isolat Trichoderma viridae dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas R0 = kulit kopi tanpa fermentasi (0%), R1 = kulit kopi difermentasi dengan inokulum Trichoderma viridae 4% (tahap I) dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae 4% (tahap II), R2 = kulit kopi difermentasi dengan inokulum Trichoderma viridae 8% (tahap I) dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae 8% (tahap II), R3 = kulit kopi difermentasi dengan inokulum Trichoderma viridae 12% (tahap I) dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae 12% (tahap II). Variabel yang diukur yaitu kadar NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber) dan kadar ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi (ANAVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan fermentasi menggunakan Trichoderma viridae dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap penurunan kadar NDF dan ADF kulit kopi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan inokulum Trichoderma viridae dan Saccharomyces cerevisisae hingga taraf 12% pada fermentasi kulit kopi menunjukkan kadar Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) dan Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) yang relatif sama.

The research aimed to review the effect of Trichoderma viridae and Saccharomyces cerevisiae in fermentation of coffee husk on NDF and ADF contents. The material which used in this research were coffee husk, inoculum of Trichoderma viridae and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This research used experimental method by using Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments were given R0 = coffee husk without fermentation (0%), R1 = coffee husk fermented with 4% of Trichoderma viridae inoculum (stage I) and 4% Saccharomyces cerevisiae inoculum (stage II). R2 = coffee husk fermented with 8% of Trichoderma viridae inoculum (stage I) and 8% Saccharomyces cerevisiae inoculum (stage II). R3 = coffee husk fermented with 12% of Trichoderma viridae inoculum (stage I) and 12% Saccharomyces cerevisiae inoculum (stage II). The variable measured NDF and ADF contents. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance. The result of research showed that the addition of Trichoderma viridae and Saccharomyces cerevisiae inoculum non significantly affected (P>0,05) on the decrease of NDF and ADF contents of coffee husk. Therefore it can be concluded that the utilization level of Trichoderma viridae and Saccharomyces cerevisiae up to 12% showed relatively similar contents of Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) and Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF).
