PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI UREA – ONGGOK DAN BUNGKIL KEDELAI TERPROTEKSI DALAM PAKAN DOMBA TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KONVERSI PAKAN DOMBA JANTAN

Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh pemberian urea-onggok dan bungkil kedelai terproteksi terhadap konsumsi dan konversi pakan domba jantan. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai 18 Oktober 2017 sampai 10 Januari 2018 di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 15 ekor domba jantan umur >12 bulan dengan bobot badan 20-23 kg. Perlakuan yang diuji yaitu suplementasi urea lepas lambat (onggok-urea) dan bungkil kedelai terproteksi dengan taraf 0% (R0), 5% (R1), 10% (R2), 15% (R3) dan 20% (R4) pada ransum yang tersusun dari jerami padi 30% dan konsentrat 70%. Konsentrat tersusun dari onggok, pollard, tepung jagung, bungkil kedelai, mineral mix dan NaCl, masing-masing 41, 50, 5, 2, 1 dan 1% BK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan eksperimental secara in vivo, dengan rancangan acak lengkap one way classification. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam dilanjutkan dengan uji orthogonal polynomial. Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi dan konversi pakan. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi urea-onggok dan bungkil kedelai terproteksi dalam ransum domba jantan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konversi pakan, tetapi berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi pakan dengan persamaan garis kuartik Y = 775,812 – 85,279 X + 23,987 X² + 1,940 X3 + 0,048 X4 . Rataan konsumsi pakan yang diperoleh dari penelitian R0, R1, R2, R3, R4 berturut-turut adalah 775,812, 736,370, 857,802, 755,766, 759,517 g/ekor/hari. Rataan konversi pakan yang diperoleh dari penelitian R0, R1, R2, R3, R4 berturut-turut adalah 6,02, 6,67, 9,15, 6,18 dan 7,41 g/ekor/hari. Disimpulkan bahwa suplementasi urea-onggok dan bungkil kedelai terproteksi dalam ransum domba jantan hingga persentase 20% BK ransum tidak mempengaruhi konversi pakan, tetapi meningkatkan konsumsi pakan, sehingga semakin mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan domba jantan.

The study entitled "Effect of Urea Onggok and Soybean Meal Protected Supplementation on Consumption and Feed Conversion of Male Sheep".The research aimed to study the effect of urea-onggok and soybean meal protected against consumption and feed conversion of male sheep. The study was conducted from October 18th 2017 until January 10th 2018 in the Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Food Sciences Faculty of Animal Husbandry Jenderal Sudirman University, Purwokerto. The material used in the study were 15 male sheep aged > 12 months with body weight 20-23 kg. The treatments were supplementation of urea off slow (cassava-urea) and soybean meal protected with a level of 0% (R0), 5% (R1), 10% (R2), 15% (R3) and 20% (R4) ration composed 30% of straw and 70% of concentrate. Concentrate composed of cassava, pollard, corn meal, soybean meal, mineral mix and NaCl, respectively 41, 50, 5, 2, 1 and 1% BK. The method used was experimental in vivo, with a completely randomized design with one-way classification. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by test polynomial orthogonal The variables measured were consumption and feed conversion. Results analysis of variance showed that supplementation of urea-onggok and soybean meal protected was not significant (P> 0.05) on feed conversion, but highly significant (P <0.01) on feed intake with kuartik line equation Y = 775.812 - 85.279 X + 23.987 X2 + 1.940 X3 + 0.048 X4. The average feed consumption obtained from research R0, R1,R2,R3,R4 were 775.812, 736.370, 857.802, 755.766, 759.517 g / head / day respectively. The average feed conversion obtained from research R0, R1,R2,R3,R4 were 6.02, 6.67, 9.15, 6.18 and 7.41 g / head / day respectively. It was concluded that supplementation of urea-onggok and soybean meal protected up to 20% of DM did not affect feed conversion, but increased feed intake, thus further optimize the growth of the male sheep.
