Penelitian ini berjudul “Faktor-faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Penerimaan Devisa Indonesia dari Sektor Pariwisata”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen yaitu jumlah wisatawan mancanegara, rata-rata lama tinggal wisatawan mancanegara, nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap USD dan jumlah hotel terhadap variabel dependen yaitu penerimaan devisa Indonesia dari sektor pariwisata, baik secara bersama-sama maupun parsial.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa data time series dengan periode pengamatan tahun 2000-2015 (16 tahun). Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS).
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukan bahwa secara bersama-sama jumlah wisatawan mancanegara, rata-rata lama tinggal wisatawan mancanegara, nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap USD serta jumlah hotel berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan devisa Indonesia dari sektor pariwisata. Secara parsial variabel jumlah wisatawan mancanegara dan jumlah hotel berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penerimaan devisa Indonesia dari sektor pariwisata. Rata-rata lama tinggal wisatawan mancanegara berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap penerimaan devisa Indonesia dari sektor pariwisata. Nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap USD berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap penerimaan devisa Indonesia dari sektor pariwisata. Implikasi untuk penelitian ini yaitu pemerintah sebaiknya dapat membantu peningkatan penerimaan devisa Indonesia dari sektor pariwisata dengan cara menerapkan kebijakan bebas visa, mempromosikan pariwisata Indonesia melalui media masa, media sosial dan media elektronik agar menjadi penghasil devisa terbesar yang dapat menggantikan penerimaan devisa Indonesia dari sektor minyak dan gas bumi yang cenderung menurun.

This research entitled "Factors Affecting Indonesia's Foreign Exchange Income from Tourism Sector". The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of independent variables, that are the number of foreign tourists, the average length of stay of foreign tourists, the exchange rate of Rupiah to USD and the number of hotels to the dependent variable is Indonesia's income from the Tourism Sector, either simultaneously or in partially.
The type of this research is quantitative approach. This study uses secondary data, it is time series data with observation period 2000-2015 (16 years). Theltool of this research is multiple linear regression method Ordinary Least Square (OLS).
Based on the results of research and data analysis shows that simultaneously the number of foreign tourists, the average length of stay of foreign tourists, the exchange rate of Rupiah to USD and the number of hotels affect the Indonesia’s foreign exchange income from the tourism sector. Partially, the variable number of foreign tourists and number of hotels have a positive and significant impact on Indonesia's foreign exchange income from tourism sector. The average length of stay of foreign tourists has a negative and insignificant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange income  from the tourism sector. The exchange rate of Rupiah to USD has a positive and insignificant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange income from the tourism sector. The implication for this research is that the government should be able to help increase Indonesia's foreign exchange earnings from the tourism sector by applying visa-free policies, promoting Indonesian tourism through mass media, social media and electronic media to become the largest foreign exchange income that can replace the foreign exchange income from Mineral fuels including oilsector which tends to decrease.
