Penelitian ini berjudul “Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Ekspor Ikan Tuna Indonesia ke Lima Negara Asia Tahun 2000-2016”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga ekspor ikan tuna, PDB per kapita, nilai tukar, produksi ikan tuna Indonesia, dan harga ekspor udang terhadap ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke lima negara Asia tahun 2000-2016, serta meramalkan perkembangan trend ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia lima tahun mendatang. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan pada analisis regresi data panel GLS dengan model terpilih fixed effect menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel harga ekspor ikan tuna, PDB per kapita, nilai tukar, produksi ikan tuna Indonesia, dan harga ekspor udang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke lima negara Asia tahun 2000-2016. Secara parsial, variabel harga ekspor ikan tuna dan nilai tukar tidak berpengaruh signifikan, PDB per kapita dan harga ekspor udang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, dan produksi ikan tuna Indonesia berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke lima negara Asia tahun 2000-2016. Hasil analisis trend non-linier volume ekspor ke negara Jepang, Thailand, Singapura, dan Vietnam menunjukkan trend yang menurun lima tahun mendatang. Sedangkan hasil analisis trend non-linier volume ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke negara China menunjukkan trend yang meningkat pada lima tahun mendatang. Implikasi dari kesimpulan diatas yaitu untuk dapat meningkatkan volume ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke lima negara Asia serta memprediksi trend volume ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia lima tahun mendatang, maka pemerintah perlu meningkatkan dan mempertahankan kerjasama dengan negara-negara importir dengan cara menjaga kualitas ikan tuna Indonesia dan memperhatikan kebutuhan jangka panjang yaitu dengan membangun cold storage sebagai sarana penyimpanan produk di pelabuhan agar kemampuan suplai produksi ikan tuna Indonesia stabil. Sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Pemerintah perlu menjaga stabilitas harga ikan tuna Indonesia.

This research entitled Factors Affecting Indonesian Tuna Export to Five Asian Countries in 2000-2016”. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the tuna export price, the GDP per capita, exchange rates, Indonesian tuna production and shrimp export price on the Indonesian tuna exports to five Asian countries in 2000-2016, as well as to forecast the development trend of Indonesian tuna export within the next five years. The results based on the analysis of GLS panel data regression with the chosen model of fixed effect show that simultaneously variables of tuna export price, GDP per capita, exchange rate, Indonesian tuna production, and the shrimp export price have a significant effect on the Indonesian tuna export volume to five Asian countries in 2000-2016. Partially, tuna export price and exchange rate has no significant effect on Indonesian tuna export volume to five Asian countries in 2000-2016, GDP per capita and shrimp export price has a positive and significant effect, and the Indonesian tuna production has a negative and significant effect on the Indonesian tuna exports volume to five Asian countries in 2000-2016. The results of a non-linear trend analysis of export volume to Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam show a declining trend within the next five years. Meanwhile, the export volume of Indonesian tuna to China shows an increasing trend within the next five years.
The implications of the study in order to be able to increase the Indonesian tuna export volume to five Asian countries, as well as to predict the trend of the Indonesian tuna export volume within the next five years and the years that followed, the government needs to increase and maintain cooperation with importing countries by maintaining of Indonesian tuna. In addition, the need for the management of tuna taking into account long-term needs by building a cold storage as a means of storage of the products at the port. So, the ability to supply Indonesian tuna production is stable and can meet the needs of consumers in the country and abroad. The government needs to maintain the stability of Indonesian tuna price.
