PENGARUH KONSENTRAT PROTEIN BUNGKIL BIJI JARAK FERMENTASI DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP BOBOT HATI DAN KADAR LEMAK DAGING AYAM BROILER

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengkaji pengaruh pemberian konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi terhadap bobot hati dan kadar lemak daging ayam broiler. Materi yang digunakan adalah DOC ayam pedaging sebanyak 60 ekor. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2017 sampai dengan 18 November 2017 di Green House dan Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Pakan dengan metode eksperimen secara in vivo. Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Terdapat empat perlakuan penambahan konsentrat bungkil biji jarat fermentasi yaitu tanpa penambahan konsentrat bungkil biji jarak (R0), penambahan konsentrat bungkil biji jarak 6% (R1), penambahan konsentrat bungkil biji jarak 12% (R2) dan penambahan konsentrat bungkil biji jarak 18% (R3) dan lima kali ulangan. Peubah yang dicatat dan diamati adalah bobot hati dan kadar lemak daging ayam broiler. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan uji orthogonal polynomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi (6, 12 dan 18%), memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0.05) secara linier terhadap bobot hati dengan persamaan garis linier y = -0,604x + 14,41 dan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap Kadar lemak. Rataan bobot hati hasil penelitian R0, R1, R2, dan R3 secara berurutan yaitu 15,7; 14,5; 13,5; 10,4 g, rataan kadar lemak secara berurutan R0, R1, R2, dan R3 yaitu 1,82; 1,72; 1,99; 2,32%. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi dalam pakan menurunkan bobot hati, namun tidak mempengaruhi kadar lemak daging ayam broiler.

The aim of this research was to study the effect of protein concentrate from Fermentable Jatropha seed meal on liver weights and fat content of Broiler Chicken Meat. The material that used in this research were 60 broiler chicken DOC. Research was conducted from October, 18th, 2017 until November, 18th, 2017 in Green House and Feed Stuff Laboratory with in vivo experimental methods. Data were analyzed using Anova with completely randomized design (CRD). Treatments consist of no addition jatropha seed meal (R0), addition 6% (R1), 12% (R2) and 18% (R3) jatropha seed meal with 5 replications. Data was analyzed by variance analysis and continued by orthogonal polynomial. Data variable that measured are liver weights and fat content of Broiler Chicken Meat. The results showed that addition jatropha seed meal ( 6%, 12%, 18%) have significant effect (P<0.05) linearly on liver weights and have no significant effect on fat content (P>0.05). The average of liver weights research result R0, R1, R2, R3 were 15,7; 14,5; 13,5; 10,4 g, respectively. The average of fat content were 1,82; 1,72; 1,99; 2,32%. Based on the research can concluded that addition jatropha seed meal causes the dereasing liver weights, but does not affect the fat content of broiler chicken meat.
