KEEFEKTIFAN PENGGUNAAN CAMPURAN MIKROBA ANTAGONIS UNTUK MENGENDALIKAN Meloidogyne incoqnita PADA TANAMAN TOMAT DI LAPANG

Meloidogyne incoqnita merupakan salah satu kendala dalam peningkatan produksi tomat. Mikroba antagonis merupakan salah satu cara pengendalian yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat kerusakan akar, populasi nematoda, pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2017. Penelitian berlokasi di lahan milik petani Desa Sumbang, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas dan Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan empat perlakuan dan enam kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba adalah kontrol (tanpa perlakuan), campuran Bacillus B8, Bacillus B11 dan Trichoderma, campuran Bacillus B8, P. fluorescens P8 dan Trichoderma sp., serta Karbofuran. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tingkat kerusakan akar, kepadatan akhir nematoda puru akar, tinggi tanaman, bobot segar tanaman, jumlah buah dan jumlah bobot buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Campuran mikroba antagonis Bacillus B8, Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Trichoderma mampu menekan 16,8% tingkat kerusakan akar, campuran mikroba antagonis belum mampu menekan populasi nematoda dalam tanah, Campuran mikroba antagonis Bacillus B8, Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 dan Trichoderma sp. mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman namun belum mampu meningkatkan hasil tanaman tomat.

Meloidogyne incoqnita is one of the obstacles in increasing tomato production. Microbial antagonists are one of the most environmentally friendly ways of control. This study aims to assess the extent of root damage, nematode population, growth and yield of tomato plants. The study was conducted in March to May 2017. The study is located on the land owned by the farmers of Sumbang Village, Sumbang Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency and the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of General Soedirman. The study used Randomized Block Design with four treatments and six replications. The treatments were control (without treatment), Bacillus B8 mixture, Bacillus B11 and Trichoderma, Bacillus B8 mixture, P. fluorescens P8 and Trichoderma sp., And Carbofuran. The variables observed were root damage level, root density of root tiger nematode, plant height, fresh weight of plant, number of fruit and total fruit weight. The results showed that the mixture of microbial antagonists Bacillus B8, Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 and Trichoderma were able to suppress 16.8% of root damage levels, the antagonistic microbial mixture has not been able to suppress the nematode population in the soil, A mixture of Bacillus B8 antagonists, Pseudomonas fluorescens P8 and Trichoderma sp. able to increase plant height but not yet able to increase yield of tomato plants.
