PENGARUH SUBTITUSI BUNGKIL KEDELAI DENGAN KONSENTRAT PROTEIN BUNGKIL BIJI JARAK FORTIFIKASI FERMENTASI DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP KONSUMSI PAKAN, FCR DAN BOBOT AKHIR AYAM BROILER

Penelitian berjudul “Pengaruh Subtitusi Bungkil Kedelai Dengan Konsentrat Protein Bungkil Biji Jarak Fortifikasi Fermentasi dalam Pakan Terhadap Konsumsi Pakan, FCR dan Bobot Akhir Ayam Broiler” telah dilaksanakan di Green House, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2017 sampai dengan tanggal 18 November 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggantian bungkil kedelai dengan konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi dalam pakan terhadap konsumsi pakan, FCR dan bobot akhir pada ayam broiler serta mengkaji level terbaik ditinjau dari peubah tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Materi yang digunakan adalah DOC ayam broiler sebanyak 40 ekor. Perlakuan terdiri atas R0 (tanpa konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi), R1 (6% konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi), R2 (12% konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi), R3 (18% konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi). Peubah yang diukur adalah konsumsi pakan, FCR dan bobot akhir pada ayam broiler. Rataan konsumsi pakan hasil penelitian R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut-turut adalah 369,28 gram; 374,45 gram; 287,14 gram; 241,51 gram. Rataan FCR hasil penelitian R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut-turut adalah 1,70; 1,83; 1,66; 2,14. Rataan bobot akhir hasil penelitian R0, R1, R2, R3, berturut-turut adalah 616,6 gram; 582,5 gram; 488,8 gram; 313,2 gram. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggantian bungkil kedelai dengan konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi dalam pakan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan, FCR, dan bobot akhir. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi dapat menggantikan bungkil kedelai ditinjau dari konsumsi pakan dengan penambahan 4% konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi dan FCR dengan penambahan 14% konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi, sedangkan untuk bobot akhir konsentrat protein bungkil biji jarak fermentasi tidak dapat untuk menggantikan bungkil kedelai.

This research entitled “The Effect of Soy Bean Meal Substitution by Fermented Concentrate Protein of Jatropha Seeds Cake in the Broiler Chicken Feed to the Feed Consumption, Feed Convertion Ratio and Final Body Weight” was done in Green House, Animal Science Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University, from October, 18th, 2017 until November 18th 2017. The purposes of this research were to know the effect of soy bean meal substitution by concentrate protein of jatropha seed cake in the broiler chicken feed to the feed consumption, feed convertion ratio and final body weight and to know the best level of concentrate protein of jatropha seed cake that can substitute soy bean meal in the feed reviewed from those variables. This research used experiment method and the design of this research were used was Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 5 replicates. The materials that used in this research were 40 heads of broiler chicken DOC. The treatments of this research were consisted of R0 (without fermented concentrate protein of jatropha seed cake), R1 (additions 6% fermented concentrate protein of jatropha seed cake), R2 (additions 12% fermented concentrate protein of jatropha seed cake), and R3 (additions 18% fermented concentrate protein of jatropha seed cake). Variables that measured were feed consumption, feed convertion ratio and final weight of broiler chickens. The means of feed consumption of R0, R1, R2, R3 were 369.28 gram; 374.45 gram; 287.14 gram; 241.51 gram. The means of feed convertion ratio of R0, R1, R2, R3 were 1.70; 1.83; 1.66; 2.14. The means of final weight of R0, R1, R2, R3 were 616.6 gram; 582.5 gram; 488.8 gram; 313.2 gram. The results showed that the treatments significantly effected (P<0.05) the feed consumption, feed convertion ratio and final body weight. The conclucion of this research is that, the fermented protein concentrate of jatropha seed cake can substitute the soy bean meal reviewed from feed consumption with the additions of 4% of fermented protein concentrate of jatropha seed cake and feed convertion ratio with the additions of 14% of fermented protein concentrate of jatropha seed cake, but reviewed from the final weight, fermented protein concentrate of jatropha seed cake is not able to subtitute the soy bean meal.
