PENGARUH CHLORELLA TERHADAP KADAR ALBUMIN PENDERITA TUBERKULOSIS

Obat anti tuberkulosis mempunyai efek samping hepatotoksik, salah satu bahan alami yang bersifat hepatoprotektan adalah chlorella. Pemberian Chlorella pada pasien Tuberkulosis diharapkan dapat menurunkan inflamasi kronik pada hati. Penanda inflamasi kronik pada hati yang digunakan adalah albumin serum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan rerata kadar albumin penderita tuberkulosis yang diberi Chlorella dan OAT dan OAT saja. Studi eksperimental desain paralel dengan pre-post test control design. Sampel terdiri dari 25 pasien tuberkulosis, terbagi menjadi kelompok perlakuan (14), dan kelompok kontrol (11). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan antara kadar albumin pre test dan post test kelompok perlakuan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan antara kadar albumin pre test dan post test kelompok kontrol. Penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kadar albumin kelompok perlakuan lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol.

Anti-tuberculosis drugs have hepatotoxic side effects, one of the natural ingridients that is hepatoprotectan is Chlorella. Administration of Chlorella in Tuberculosis patients is expected to decrease chronic inflammation in the liver. The chronic inflammatory markers used is serum albumin. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the average albumin level of tuberculosis patients given Chlorella and OAT and OAT alone. Experimental study of parallel design with pre-post test control design. The sample consisted of 25 tuberculosis patients, divided into treatment group (14), and control group (11). The results showed that there was an increase between albumin pre test and post test of treatment group. The results also showed an increase between the pre-test albumin and post test levels of the control group. The study showed higher levels of albumin in the treatment group than in the control group.
