Abstrak: Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian untuk menjelaskan tentang bagaimana sistem pengupahan antara laki-laki dan perempuan di industri getuk goreng Sokaraja Banyumas, hal-hal terkait yang menjadi dasar pertimbangan sistem pengupahan pada industri Sokaraja Banyumas, dan respon pekerja perempuan terkait sistem pengupahan di industri getuk goreng Sokaraja Banyumas. Untuk mendapatkan analisis data lebih mendalam, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis on going analysis serta penentuan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem pengupahan pada industri getuk goreng di Sokaraja Banyumas berbeda antara laki-laki dan perempuan hal ini disebabkan perbedaan beban kerja yang ada pada industri getuk goreng. Konstruksi sosial bahwa perempuan bersifat lemah lembut sedangkan laki-laki kuat atau strong sehingga bisa melakukan pekerjaan berat atau proses produksi sedangkan perempuan cenderung ditempatkan di bagian yang entheng seperti melayani pembeli di depan. Perbedaan sifat kuat dan lemah ini juga digunakan sebagai pertimbangan pemilik dalam penempatan pekerja antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Penempatan kerja diatur oleh pemilik modal atau kaum borjuis sebagai penguasa alat produksi, kebijakan yang dibuat pemilik modal (pemilik industri) selalu ditaati, terlepas apakah pekerja itu melakukan perlawan secara diam-diam ataupun tidak. Respon perbedaan pengupahan antara pekerja laki-aki dan perempuan cenderung memberikan tanggapan yang negatif.

Abstract: This article is the result of research to explain about the wage system between men and women in the fried getuk industry Sokaraja Banyumas, related matters which become the basis of consideration of wage system in Sokaraja Banyumas industry, and the response of female workers related to wage system in fried getuk industry Sokaraja Banyumas. To get more in-depth data analysis, this research uses descriptive qualitative method with on-going analysis technique and determination of purposive sampling sample. The results showed that the wage system in the fried getuk industry in Sokaraja Banyumas was different between men and women this was due to the difference in work load in the fried getuk industry. Social construction that women are gentle while strong men so strong can do heavy work or production process while women tend to be placed in the entheng part as serve the buyer in front. This difference in strength and weakness is also used as a consideration of the owners in the placement of workers between men and women. Work placement is governed by the owner of the capital or the bourgeoisie as the ruler of the means of production, the policy made by the owner of capital (the owner of the industry) is always adhered to, regardless of whether the worker takes silently or not. The response to wage differentials between male and female workers tends to respond negatively.
