Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan dunia teknologi dan informasi yang sudah maju, dan dijadikan sebagai salah satu alat dalam menyebarkan informasi. Peneliti mengambil objek penelitian yaitu website Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED), untuk menguji seberapa besar kepuasan Mahasiswa UNSOED dalam pemenuhan informasi website yang dikelola oleh UNSOED. Peneliti menggunakan landasan Teori Uses and Gratification, dan menggunakan konsep pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi yang dijelaskan menurut Katz, Gurevitch, dan Haas. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling, dan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 100 mahasiswa aktif UNSOED tahun 2017. Hasil uji t-statistik dalam penelitian ini, sebesar 9,624 dimana thitung (9,624) > ttabel (1.984) dan nilai sig. (0.000) < α (0,05), yang artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara variabel pemenuhan informasi website UNSOED dengan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa UNSOED. Hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa terpenuhinya kepuasan mahasiswa UNSOED terhadap kebutuhan pemenuhan informasi melalui website UNSOED diterima.

This research is motivated by, the development of technology which is already highly developed, and being used as one tool to disseminate the information. The researchers take the object of research that is Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED) website, to find out how much satisfaction of UNSOED students in the fulfillment of information need through UNSOED website. Researchers use the foundation of Uses and Gratification Theory, and use the concept of information fulfillment which according to Katz, Gurevitch, and Haas. The method used in this research is quantitative method and simple random sampling method, distributing questionnaires to 100 active UNSOED students 2017. Result of statistic test result is  9,624 where tcount (9,624) > ttable (1.984) and sig. value (0.000) < α (0,05), which mean there is a positive and significant correlation between the variable of information fulfillment of UNSOED website with student satisfaction level Unsoed. Result of hypothesis states as the fulfillment of UNSOED Student's satisfaction with the need of fulfillment of information through UNSOED website is accepted.
