PENGARUH PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR LIMBAH RUMAH TANGGA PADA TINGGI TANAMAN DAN DIAMETER BATANG RUMPUT GAJAH (Pennisetum Purpureum)

Pengaruh Pupuk Organik Cair Limbah Rumah Tangga Pada Tinggi Tanaman dan Diameter Batang Rumput Gajah (Pennisetum purpureum). Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengkaji pengaruh pupuk organik cair limbah rumah tangga pada tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang rumput gajah serta mengetahui taraf optimalnya. Penelitian dan pengambilan data dilaksanakan tanggal 31 Maret sampai 03 Juli 2017 di Eksperimental Farm, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah 20 pols rumput gajah, 20 buah polybag, 140 kg tanah ultisol, air dan 31.56 liter pupuk organik cair limbah rumah tangga, 2 buah cangkul, 1 buah jangka sorong, 1 buah metline dan alat tulis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Eksperimental Farm dan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan, yaitu P0 (tanpa pupuk organik cair), P1 (1.05 liter/polybag), P2 (2.15 liter/polybag), P3 (3.15 liter/polybag) dan diulang 5 kali. Peubah yang diukur yaitu tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan uji lanjut orthogonal polynomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pupuk organik cair limbah rumah tangga berpengaruh sangat nyata (P < 0.01) terhadap tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang. Rataan tinggi tanaman P0 (119.80 cm); P1 (122.40 cm);P2 (131.40 cm); P3 (146.60 cm). Rataan diameter batang diperoleh, P0 (1.11 cm); P1 (1.19 cm); P2 (1.47 cm);P3 (91.62 cm).

The effect of household’s waste liquid organic fertilizer on height plant and stem diameter of elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum). The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer on plant height and stem diameter of elephant grass and to obtain the best concentration for increase plant height and stem diameter. Data was taken from March 31st to July 03rd , 2017 in Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The material used were 20 pols elephants grass, 20 polybags, 140 kilograms of ultisol land, water, 31.56 liters household’s waste liquid organic fertilizer, 2 hoes, 1 caliper, 1 metline and stationaries. The method used was experimental farm with completly randomized design with 4 treatment, 0 treat (without liquid organic fertilizer), 1st treat (1.05 Liter/Polybag), 2nd treat (2.10 Liter/Polybag), 3rd treat (3.15 Liter/Polybag) and repeated 5 times. The parameters measured are height of plant and stem diameter. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by polynomial orthogonal test. The result showed the household’s waste liquid organic fertilizer was gave highly of significant effect (P < 0.01) to height of plant and stem diameter of elephant grass. The mean of height of plant, 0 treat (119.80 cm); 1st treat (122.40 cm); 2nd treat (131.40 cm); 3rd treat (146.60 cm), and stem diameter is, 0 treat (1.11 cm); 1st treat (1.19 cm); 2nd treat (1.47 cm); 3rd treat (1.62 cm).
