PENGARUH PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR URINE SAPI PERAH LAKTASI PADA TINGGI TANAMAN DAN DIAMETER BATANG RUMPUT GAJAH (Pennisetum purpureum)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair urine sapi perah laktasi pada tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang rumput gajah. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan tanggal 31 Maret sampai 03 Juli 2017. Materi yang digunakan pupuk organik cair urine sapi perah laktasi, rumput gajah, tanah ultisol, pols. Peralatan yang digunakan cangkul, jangka sorong, metline, dan alat tulis. Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan pemberian pupuk organik cair urine sapi perah laktasi terdiri dari P0 (kontrol), P1 (0,75 liter/polybag), P2 (1,50 liter/polybag) dan P3 (2,25 liter/polybag). Variabel yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan uji orthogonal polinomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair urine sapi perah laktasi, berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadap tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah semakin tinggi level pemberian pupuk organik cair urine sapi perah laktasi, maka tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang rumput gajah akan semakin meningkat.

The purpose of this research was study the effect of liquid organic fertilizer of urine of lactating dairy cow on plant height and stem diameter of elephant grass. Data was taken from March 31th to July 3rd, 2017. The materials used were liquid organic fertilizer of urine of lactating dairy cow, elephant grass, ultisol soil and pols. The equipment included caliper, metline and stationary. The design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments of liquid organic fertilizer of urine of lactating dairy cow consisted of P0 (control), P1 (0,75 liter/polybag), P2 (1,50 liter/polybag) and P3 (2,25 liter/polybag). Parameters measured were plant height and stem diameter. The data obtained were analyzed using variance analysis and orthogonal polynomial test. The results showed that the effect of application of liquid organic fertilizer of urine of lactating dairy cattle, was highly significant (P<0,01). The conclusion of this study is, the higher addition of liquid organic fertilizer of urine of lactating dairy cow, the higher and longer plant height and stem diameter of elephant grass.
