ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Masa remaja ditandai dengan terjadinya perubahan baik secara fisik maupun psikis memungkinkan timbulnya masa krisis bagi remaja yang ditandai dengan kecenderungan munculnya perilaku-perilaku menyimpang. Cara untuk mengurangi keagresifan remaja salah satunya adalah dengan membuka diri. Menerapkan pola komunikasi keluarga yang fungsional dapat menjadi sistem pendukung remaja untuk membuka diri kepada orang tua.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pola komunikasi keluarga dengan keterbukaan diri (self-disclosure) remaja kepada orang tua pada siswa kelas XII di SMA Negeri Baturraden.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode probability sampling dengan jumlah responden 101 remaja. Pengukuran keterbukaan diri remaja menggunakan kuesioner keterbukaan diri remaja. Uji statistik menggunakan uji korelasi Lambda.
Hasil: Uji statistik Lambda menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pola komunikasi keluarga dengan keterbukaan diri remaja di SMA Negeri Baturraden dengan nilai (p=0,176) nilai koefisien korelasi (r=0,056) sehingga Ho gagal titolak.
Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pola komunikasi keluarga dengan keterbukaan diri remaja di SMA Negeri Baturraden.

ABSTRACT

Background: Adolescent is begins with the change either physically or mentally that enables the emergence of crisis period for teenagers. It is marked by the tendency of teenagers to do deviant behavior. The way to reduce the aggressiveness of teenagers is by disclosing their own self. Implemented family communication pattern that is functional can be the support system for teenagers to disclose themselves to their parents. 
Objective: This research was aimed at analyzing the correlation between family communication pattern and self-disclosure of teenagers to their parents on the grade 12 students of SMA Negeri Baturraden. 
Method: This research is cross sectional design. The sample is taken by using probability sampling method with the number of respondents which is 101 teenagers. The measurement of teenagers’ self-disclosure uses the questionnaire of teenagers’ self-disclosure. Statistical test used Lambda correlation test. 
Result: Based on Lambda statistical test, there is no correlation between family communication pattern and self-disclosure of teenagers in SMA Negeri Baturraden with the value (p=0,176), coefficient value of correlation (r=0,056), therefore, Ho is obtained.
Conclusion: There is no correlation between family communication pattern and self-disclosure of teenagers in SMA Negeri Baturraden.
