Seperti yang diamanatkan dalam Pasal 126 Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2004 tentang Pemerintah Daerah yang menyebutkan bahwa Camat dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya memperoleh pelimpahan sebagaimana wewenang Bupati/Walikota untuk menangani sebagian urusan otonomi daerah. Karena itu, Kecamatan merupakan simpul penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik di Kabupaten/Kota. Sebagai bentuk nyata mendekatkan pelayanan publik kepada masyarakat ialah terwujudnya Pelayanan Administrasi Terpadu Kecamatan (PATEN).
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas pelayanan publik melalui model Pelayanan Administrasi Terpadu Kecamatan (PATEN) yang ada di Kecamatan Cilongok Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah distribusi frekuensi, rata-rata hitung (mean), dan standar deviasi. 
Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1.	Indikator pencapaian tujuan pada variabel efektivitas program PATEN termasuk pada kategori cenderung tinggi. Nilai rata-rata yang ditemukan pada indikator pencapaian tujuan sebesar 2,77 dimana nilai tersebut menempati urutan ke tiga dalam indikator yang berkontribusi pada efektivitas program PATEN. 2. Indikator integrasi pada varibel efektivitas program PATEN termasuk pada kategori cenderung tinggi. Nilai rata-rata yang ditemukan pada indikator integrasi ialah sebesar 2,79 dimana nilai tersebut menempati urutan ke dua dalam indikator yang berkontribusi pada efektivitas program PATEN. 3. Indikator adaptasi pada variabel efektivitas program PATEN termasuk pada kategori cenderung tinggi. Nilai rata-rata yang ditemukan pada indikator adaptasi ialah sebesar 2,84 dimana nilai tersebut menempati urutan ke satu atau urutan pertama dalam indikator yang berkontribusi pada efektivitas program PATEN.

As mandated in Article 126 of Law Number 32 Year 2004 regarding Regional Government which states that the Camat in the execution of its duties obtains the delegation as the authority of the Regent / Mayor to handle some matters of regional autonomy. Therefore, the Kecamatan is the node of public service in the Regency / City. As a real form of public service closer to the community is the realization of the Integrated Service District Administration (PATEN).
	The purpose of this study is to determine the level of effectiveness of public services through the Integrated District Administration Service (PATEN) model in the District Cilongok Banyumas. This research used survey method. Data analysis techniques used are frequency distribution, mean count (mean), and standard deviation. 
	The results of the analysis in this study indicate: 1. Indicators of achievement of objectives on the variable effectiveness of PATEN program included in the category tend to be high. The average score found in the goal achievement indicator is 2.77 where it ranks third in the indicator that contributes to the effectiveness of the PATEN program. 2. Integration indicators on the effectiveness of PATEN program variables included in the categories tend to be high. The average score found in the integration indicator is 2.79 where it ranks second in the indicator that contributes to the effectiveness of the PATEN program. 3. Indicators of adaptation on the variable effectiveness of PATEN program included in the categories tend to be high. The average score found in the adaptation indicator is 2.84 where it ranks one or the first in the indicator that contributes to the effectiveness of the PATEN program.
