ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan konsentrasi CaCl2 yang paling efektif terhadap kualitas buah tomat, mengetahui jenis pengemas yang paling efektif terhadap kualitas buah tomat, mengetahui kombinasi CaCl2 dan jenis pengemas terbaik terhadap kualitas buah tomat. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan februari sampai maret 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) faktorial, dengan tiga kali ulangan yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi larutan CaCl2 yaitu : kontrol, 10 gram / liter, 15 gram / liter dan 20 gram/ liter . Faktor kedua adalah jenis pengemas yaitu: kontrol, plastik polipropilen dan plastik polietilen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi CaCl2 10 gram / liter  terbaik dalam mempertahankan kualitas buah tomat dalam penyimpanan. Jenis pengemas plastik polietilen terbaik dalam mempertahankan kualitas buah tomat dalam penyimpanan. Kombinasi CaCl2 10 gram / liter dan jenis pengemas polietilen terbaik dalam mempertahankan kualitas buah tomat dalam penyimpanan.

ABSTRACT
	This study aims to determine the most effective concentration of CaCl2 to the quality of tomato, know the most effective type of packaging the quality of tomato and to know CaCl2 and the type packaging the quality of tomato. The study was conducted from February to March 2017. This study used a complete Randomized Block Design factorial, with three replications consisting of two factors. The first factor is the concentration of CaCl2 solution that is: control, 10 gram / liter, 15 gram / liter and 20 gram / liter. The second factor is the packing type: control, polypropylene plastic and polyetilene plastic. The results showed that the best was 10 gram / liter concentration CaCl2  in maintaining the quality of tomato in storage. The best type of packaging in maintaining the quality of tomato in storage was polyetilene plastic. The best combination between CaCl2 and packaging material in maintaining the quality of tomato in storage was combination between 10 gram / liter CaCl2 and polyetilene plastic.
