Kadar Protein Kasar dan Serat Kasar Silase Rumput Odot (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) Pada Penambahan Level Onggok Yang Berbeda

Penelitian berjudul “Kadar Protein Kasar dan Serat Kasar Silase Rumput Odot (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) Pada Penambahan Level Onggok Yang Berbeda”. Tujuan penelitian adalah Mengkaji kandungan protein kasar dan serat kasar pada silase rumput odot yang ditambahkan onggok dengan level yang berbeda, Mengetahui level onggok terbaik ditinjau dari kadar protein kasar dan serat kasar silase rumput odot. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diujicobakan yaitu R0 = rumput odot + 0 % onggok, R1 = rumput odot + 10 % onggok, R2 = rumput odot + 20 % onggok, R3 = rumput odot + 30 % onggok, dan R4 = rumput odot + 40 % onggok. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali, selanjutnya dianalisis mengunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P < 0,05) terhadap kandungan protein kasar dan serat kasar. Hasil uji orthogonal polinomial menunjukan perbedaan (P < 0,05) antara perlakuan R0 dengan R1, R2, R3 dan R4. Semakin tinggi perlakuan penambahan level onggok pada silase, maka semakin tinggi pula kandungan protein kasar dan serat kasar silase, serta semakin baik kualitas silase yang dihasilkan. Hasil uji orthogonal polinomial memberikan respon linier (P < 0,05) terhadap protein kasar dan serat kasar. Persaman garis yang ditunjukan yaitu Y = 11. 5575 + 0. 215075 X dan R2 = 92. 94 % untuk protein kasar, sedangkan untuk serat kasar Y = 24.624714 - 0.04368452 X + 0.03126607 X^2 - 0.00070083 X^3 dan R2 = 91.7182 %.

The study entitled "Levels of Crude Protein and Crude Fiber Of Odot Silage Grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) added with Cassava by Product At Different Levels". The purpose of this study was to study the effect of giving the levels of cassava by product on crude protein and crude fiber contens of odot grass silage, to know the best cassava by product level in determining crude protein and the crude fiber contens of odot grass silage. The materials used were odot grass and cassava by product. The research method was experimental with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The experimental treatments were R0: odot grass + 0 % of cassava by product, R1: odot grass + 10 % of cassava by product, R2: odot grass + 20 % of cassava by product, R3: odot grass + 30 % of cassava by product and R₄: odot grass + 40 % of cassava by product. The treatments were repeated 4 times, then the data were analyzed using variance analysis. The results showed that the treatment hada a significant effect (P <0.05) on the crude protein and crude fiber contens of odot grass silage. The orthogonal polynomial test results showed a significant difference (P <0.05) between treatment R0 with R1, R2, R3, and R₄. The higher the treatment of the addition of cassava by product levels on the silage, the higher the crude protein contens and the silage crude fiber and the better the quality of the silage produced. The orthogonal polynomial test results was a linear response (P <0.05) on the crude protein and crude fiber. The line equation shown was Y = 11. 5575 + 0. 215075 X and R² = 92. 94 % for silage crude protein, while for silage crude fiber the line was Y = 24.624714 - 0.04368452 X + 0.03126607 X^2 - 0.00070083 X^3 and R² = 91.7182 %.
