EFEKTIFITAS PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR HERBAL TERHADAP DIAMETER BATANG DAN BOBOT SEGAR RUMPUT GAJAH DEFOLIASI KETIGA

Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan pupuk organik cair herbal terhadap diameter batang dan bobot segar rumput gajah defoliasi ketiga. Materi yang digunakan adalah rumput gajah defoliasi ketiga sebanyak 648 rumpun yang telah diberi pupuk organik padat granul feses ayam petelur pada defoliasi pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diterapkan yaitu: A (Pupuk Organik Cair 1 ml/rumpun), B (Pupuk Organik Cair 3 ml/rumpun), C (Pupuk Organik Cair 9 ml/rumpun), D (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas 1 ml/rumpun), E (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas 3 ml/rumpun), F (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas 9 ml/rumpun), G (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas+ Temulawak 1 ml/rumpun), H (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas+Temulawak 3 ml/rumpun), I (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas+Temulawak 9 ml/rumpun), J (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas+Temulawak+ Mengkudu 1 ml/rumpun), K (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas+Temulawak+Mengkudu 3 ml/rumpun), L (Pupuk Organik Cair+Nanas+Temulawak+Mengkudu 9 ml/rumpun). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rataan diameter batang rumput gajah terendah pada penggunaan pupuk organik cair dengan herbal nanas, temulawak dan mengkudu yaitu 1,15 cm. Rataan diameter batang rumput gajah tertinggi pada penggunaan pupuk organik cair dengan herbal nanas dan temulawak yaitu 1,26 cm. Rataan bobot segar rumput gajah terendah pada penggunaan pupuk organik cair dengan herbal nanas, temulawak dan mengkudu yaitu 16,733 Kg/6m2. Rataan bobot segar rumput gajah tertinggi pada penggunaan pupuk organik cair dengan herbal nanas dan temulawak yaitu 20,267 Kg/6m2. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk organik cair herbal pada berbagai jenis pupuk maupun dosis tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang dan bobot segar rumput gajah defoliasi ketiga. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut budidaya rumput gajah dapat menggunakan jenis pupuk organik lainnya.

The purpose of this research was to know the effect of the use of liquid organic herbal fertilizer on stem diameter and fresh weight of elephant grass at third defoliation. The materials used were elephant grass at third defoliation as many as 648 bunches that had received a solid organic granule fertilizer of laying hens feces at the first defoliation. The research method was experimental with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The applied treatments were: A (liquid organic fertilizer 1 ml/bunch), B (liquid organic fertilizer 3 ml/ bunch), C (liquid organic fertilizer 9 ml/bunch), D (liquid organic fertilizer+pineapple 1 ml/ bunch), E (liquid organic fertilizer+pineapple 3 ml/bunch), F (liquid organic fertilizer+pineapple 9 ml/bunch), G (liquid organic fertilizer+ pineapple+temulawak 1 ml/ bunch), H (liquid organic fertilizer+pineapple+temulawak 3 ml/ bunch), I (liquid organic fertilizer+pineapple+temulawak 9 ml/bunch), J (liquid organic fertilizer+ pineapple+temulawak+ noni 1 ml/ bunch), K (liquid organic fertilizer+pineapple+temulawak+noni 3 ml/bunch), L (liquid organic fertilizer+pineapple+temulawak+noni 9 ml/bunch). The results showed that the lowest mean of stem diameter of elephant grass namely 1,15 cm was found from the use of liquid organic fertilizer with herbs of pineapple, temulawak and noni. The higest mean of diameter of elephant grass stem namely 1,26 cm was found from the use of liquid organic fertilizer with herbs of pineapple and temulawak. The lowest mean of fresh weight of elephant grass namely 16.733 Kg/6m2 was found from the use of liquid organic fertilizer with herbs of pineapple, temulawak and noni. The higest mean of fresh weight of elephant grass namely 20.267 Kg/6m2 was found from the use of liquid organic fertilizer with herbs of as pineapple and temulawak. The results of analysis of variance showed that the use of liquid organic herbal fertilizer of various types and doses had no significant effect on the stem diameter and fresh weight of elephant grass at third defoliation. Based on these results, elephant grass cultivation can use other types of organic fertilizers.
