Latar Belakang : Salah satu dampak serangan stroke bagi keluarga adalah muncul rasa cemas. Kecemasan dapat menimbulkan kehilangan pemikiran yang rasional dan kemampuan mengambil keputusan yang tepat. Kecemasan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kecemasan keluarga pasien stroke.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan crosssectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan consecutive samplingdengan jumlah 45 keluarga pasien stroke. Pengambilan data dilakukan  dalam kurun waktu 31 Januari – 20 Pebruari 2017 di ruang rawat inap RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto, Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner  HAR-S. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square.
Hasil : Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh nilai pada variabel  umur nilai p= 0,006
 jenis kelamin nilai p= 0,002, pekerjaan nilai p=0,002, status ekonomi nilai p= 0,002, dan  tipe serangan stroke nilai p= 0,001.
Kesimpulan : Kecemasan keluarga pasien stroke dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia, jenis kelamin, pekerjaan, status ekonomi, dan tipe serangan stroke.

Background : One of the effects of stroke for the family is anxiety. Anxiety can cause loss of rational thinking and to take rightdecision. Anxiety is affected by internal and axternal factors.	
Objective : This research aimed to determine the factors affecting anxiety in the families of stroke patients.
Method : This research used cross sectional design. Consecutive sampling method is used to determine 45 families of stroke patients to be research samples. The data was taken from in the inpatient rooms of RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto from 31stJanuary to 20th February 2017. The research instrument used a questionnaire of HAR-S. Data were analyzed using chi square test. 
Result : Based on data analysis, it was obtained p value = 0,06 in the age variable, p  value = 0,002 in gender, p value = 0,002 in occupation, p value = 0,002 in economic status, p value = 0,001 in type of stroke.
Conclusion : Anxiety of families of stroke patiens was affected by age, gender, occupation, economic status and  type of stroke factor.
