ABSTRAK
KUHAP mengatur panduan bagaimana beracara dalam hal perkara pidana di Indonesia.Didalamnya, satu pihak meletakan hak-hak dan satu pihak lainnya meletakkan kewajiban.Semua ini bertujuandemi penyempurnaan sistem peradilan di Indonesia.
Indonesia merupakan Negara hukum.Konsekuensi Indonesia sebagai Negara hukum memberikan konsekuensi, haruslah terjamin persamaan dimuka hukum. Dalam konteks terjaminnya persamaan dimuka hukum maka terdapat pelekatan hak-hak tersangka dalam proses penyidikan.
Penyidikan adalah proses dalam rangka mencari kebenaran materiel dalam sebuah perkara pidana. Dimana penyidik dalam rangka mencari kebenaran materiel diperkenankan untuk memeriksa tersangka dan saksi yang berkaitan sebuah tindak pidana tertentu. Penyidik dalam proses penyidikan memungkinkan untuk mengkonfronir pernyataan satu pihakk dengan pihak yang lainnya.
Dengan dirumuskannya Pasal 114 Kuhap memberikan arti bahwa selama proses penyidikan, haruslah tersangka mendapatkankan bantuan hukum, karena hal tersebut merupakan hak yang melekat pada diri tersangka. Kewajiban penyidik untuk menyediakan Penasihat Hukum adalah dalam rangka mengurangi tindakan semena-mena penyidik.
Penelitian berjudul Bantuan Hukum Bagi Tersangka Dalam Proses Penyidikan(Studi Di Polres Tegal Kota).Pada penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang Implementasi Pasal 114 KUHAP. Ternyata ditemukan hasil penelitian bahwa penyidik kurang begitu maksimal dalam memberikan hak tersangka dalam proses penyidikan.

ABSTRACT
KUHAP is sets guidelines for how proceedings in criminal cases in Indonesia. In it, the party put the rights and one of the other obligations parties laid. All these aim for the sake of improvement of the judicial system in Indonesia 
Indonesia is a country of law. Consequences of Indonesia as a state legal consequences, should be guaranteed equality before the law. In the context of ensuring the equality before the law, so there are an attachment to the rights of suspects in the investigation process.
Investigation is the process in order to seek the truth of the material in a criminal case. Where investigators in order to find the truth of the material allowed to check suspects and witnesses relating to a specific criminal offense. Investigators in the investigation process allows for confronting statement of one party to the other party.
With the formulation of Article 114 of the KUHAP gives the sense that during the investigation, the suspects should receive legal aid, because it is the inherent right of self-suspect.Liabilities investigators to provide Legal Counsel are in order to reduce the caprices investigator.
This research entitled Legal Aid For Suspects In the Process of Investigation (Studies In PolresTegal City).In this research explain about the implementation of Article 114 KUHAP.It was found that the results of research is investigators were less maximal in giving the rights of suspects in the investigation process.
