ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Kelahiran prematur menjadi penyebab tingginya angka kematian bayi baru lahir, diantara peyebabnya adalah pengosongan lambung yang lebih lama, hal ini menimbulkan komplikasi berupa reflux lambung, aspirasi, bahkan kematian. Salah satu intervensi non farmakologi untuk mempercepat pengosongan lambung adalah posisi right lateral.
Tujuan : penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh posisi right lateral terhadap pengosongan lambung pada bayi prematur.
Metode : penelitian pra eksperimen dengan one group pre and posttest design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 18 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah spuit 10 cc dan lembar observasi residu lambung. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah uji t-berpasangan.
Hasil : rerata residu lambung pre dan post intervensi menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan dengan nilai p=0,000 (<0,05).
Kesimpulan: Pengaturan posisi right lateral meningkatkan pengosongan lambung bayi prematur.

ABSTRACT
Background : A premature is one of many causes of high infant mortality rate. A problem which following the premature is a long term of gastric emptying. These problem lead to the complication such as gastric reflux even death. One of a non pharmacologyc intervention to make faster the gastric emptying is a right lateral positioning.
Purpose : this research was aimed to determine the effect of right lateral position to gastric emptying of the preterm infant in Perinatal ward Goeteng Taroenadibrata Hospital Purbalingga.
Methods : this research used pra experiment with one group pre and posttest design. The sampling used total sampling with 18 respondents based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used an observation of gastric recidual sheet 10cc syring injection and observation sheet. The data analysis using a t-paired test.
Result : the result of t-paired test of the gastric recidual rate in pre and post intervention are significant with p value : 0,000 (<0,05).
Conclusion : right lateral positioning promotes the gastric emptying of the preterm infant.
