HEN DAY PRODUCTION DAN HEN HOUSED PRODUCTION BERBAGAI AYAM SENTUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai jenis ayam Sentul terhadap Hen Day Production dan Hen Housed Production pada periode produksi dan mengetahui jenis ayam Sentul yang memiliki Hen Day Production dan Hen Housed Production tertinggi. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah berbagai ayam Sentul sebanyak 100 ekor ayam sentul periode produksi. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen, Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri atas 5 macam ayam, yaitu : S1 = ayam Sentul Abu, S2 = ayam Sentul Batu, S3 =ayam Sentul Debu, S4 = ayam Sentul Emas dan S5 = ayam Sentul Geni. Setiap perlakuan diulang lima kali sehingga terdapat 25 unit percobaan, dan setiap unit percobaan terdiri atas lima ekor. Peubah yang diamati adalah Hen Day Production dan Hen Housed Production ayam Sentul. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi, kemudian jika berpengaruh nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan hen day production pada masing-masing ayam; yaitu S1 = 41.194 ± 10.376; S2 = 31.450 ± 5.373; S3 = 38.998 ± 12.106; S4 = 28.174 ± 4.425; S5 = 30.818 ± 4.464. Rataan hen housed production pada masing-masing ayam; yaitu S1 = 34.570 ± 8.025; S2 = 29.000 ± 4.939; S3 = 38.998 ± 12.106; S4 = 24.572 ± 5.090; S5 = 27.144 ± 5.252. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa berbagai jenis ayam Sentul berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap Hen Day Production, dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap Hen Housed Production. Hasil uji Beda Nyata Jujur menunjukkan bahwa bahwa HHP ayam Sentul Debu berbeda nyata dengan ayam Sentul Emas, sedangkan HHP ayam Sentul Abu, ayam Sentul Batu dan ayam Sentul Geni berbeda tidak nyata.

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of various kinds of Sentul Chicken on Hen Day Production and Hen Housed Production in the period of production and to determine the type of Sentul chicken which has the highest Hen Day Production and Hen Housed Production. The material used were 100 Sentul Chickens period of production. This research was conducted using experimental method. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 times of replications. The treatment consisted of feather colors i.e. : S1 = Abu Sentul, S2 = Batu Sentul, S3 = Debu Sentul, S4 = Emas Sentul, and S5 = Geni Sentul. The variables observed were hend day production and hen housed production. The data obtained were analysed using variance analysis, continued by Honestly Significance Difference Test. Research results showed that the average of hen day production were S1 = 41.194 ± 10.376; S2 = 31.450 ± 5.373; S3 = 38.998 ± 12.106; S4 = 28.174 ± 4.425; S5 = 30.818 ± 4.464. Absolut hen housed production were S1 = 34.570 ± 8.025; S2 = 29.000 ± 4.939; S3 = 38.998 ± 12.106; S4 = 24.572 ± 5.090; S5 = 27.144 ± 5.252. The results of analysis of variance showed that various type of Sentul chicken had no significant effect (P>0.05) on Hen Day Production and had a significant effect (P<0.05) on Hen Housed Production. Based on Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test, the hen housed production of Sentul Debu had a significant differences to Sentul Emas, while Sentul Abu, Sentul Debu and Sentul Geni had no significant differences.
