Sintesis Ag3PO4 secara solvotermal menggunakan pelarut etilen glikol-etanol dan aktivitas fotokatalitiknya terhadap rhodamin B

Fotokatalis Ag3PO4 dengan aktivitas tinggi berhasil disintesis menggunakan metode solvotermal. Bahan yang digunakan adalah AgNO3 dan H3PO4 dengan pelarut etilen glikol dan etanol. Suhu pada proses solvotermal yaitu 100-160 oC. Ag3PO4 yang diperoleh dikarakterisasi dengan XRD, SEM, dan DRS. Aktivitas fotokatalitik diuji menggunakan rhodamin-B dengan iradiasi cahaya tampak (LED biru). Fotokatalis yang disintesis pada suhu 100 oC memiliki aktivitas tertinggi.

The highly active photocatalyst of Ag3PO4 was successfully synthesized using solvothermal method. The AgNO3 and H3PO4 were used as starting materials with ethylene glycol and ethanol as solvents in a solvothermal reaction. The solvothermal reaction was carried out at 100-160oC. The Ag3PO4 without solvothermal reaction was also synthesized for the comparison. The Ag3PO4 products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS). The photocatalytic activities were evaluated using Rhodamin-B decomposition under visible light irradiation (LED, blue light). The result shows that the product synthesized under 100oC of solvothermal reaction has the highest photocatalytic activity.
