HUBUNGAN BOBOT POTONG DENGAN BOBOT NON KARKAS LUAR KAMBING JAWARANDU DI RUMAH POTONG HEWAN SOKARAJA

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara bobot potong dengan bobot non karkas luar kambing Jawarandu dan mengkaji perbandingan antara bobot potong dengan bobot non karkas luar kambing Jawarandu jantan dan betina. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kambing Jawarandu jantan dan betina masing - masing 25 ekor. Peubah yang diamati adalah bobot kepala, bobot kaki bagian bawah, bobot kulit dan bobot potong. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan bobot kepala, bobot kaki bagian bawah, bobot kulit dan bobot potong masing - masing sebesar 1,94 ± 0,53 kg, 0,95 ± 0,19 kg, 2,13 ± 0,58 kg dan 28,72 ± 6,25 kg. Hubungan antara bobot potong (Y) dengan bobot non karkas luar (X) mengikuti persamaan Y = 2,641 + 4,645 X1 + 9,111 X2 + 3,812 X3. Hubungan antara bobot potong (Y) dengan bobot kepala (X1), bobot kaki bagian bawah (X2), dan bobot kulit (X3) mengikuti persamaan regresi masing - masing Y = 12,672 + 8,243 X1 ; Y = 15,153 + 13,891 X2 ; dan Y = 11,170 + 8,225 X3.

The objective was to determine the relationship between the slaughter weight to External non carcass weight of Jawarandu goats and to examine the ratio between the slaughter weight to External non carcass weight ofmale and female Jawarandu goats. The research materials used were male and femaleJawarandu goats, as many as 25 animals. The variables measured were the weight of the head, the weight of the lower leg, the weight of the skin and the slaughter weight. The research was conducted by survey method. The results showed that the average weight of the head, the average weight of the lower leg, skin weight and slaughter weight were 1.94 ± 0.53 kg, 0.95 kg ± 0.19, 2.13 ± 0.58 kg and 28.72 ± 6.25 kg. The relationship between slaughter weight (Y) with external non-carcass weight (X) followed equation Y = 2.641 + 4.645 X1 + 9.111 X2 + 3.812 X3. The relationship beween slaughter weight (Y) with the weight of the head (X1), the weight of the lower leg (X2) and the weight of the skin (X3) followed a regression equation of Y = 12.672 + 8.243 X1 ; Y = 15.153 + 13.891 X2 ; dan Y = 11.170 + 8.225 X3.
