Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1). Mengetahui perlakuan macam stratifikasi terbaik terhadap perkecambahan benih dan pertumbuhan awal bibit jati (Tectona grandis L.). 2). Mengetahui jenis media yang terbaik terhadap perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan awal bibit jati (Tectona grandis L.). 3). Mengetahui interaksi antara perlakuan stratifikasi dan jenis media yang terbaik terhadap perkecambahan benih dan pertumbuhan awal bibit jati (Tectona grandis L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura dan Screenhouse Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman pada ketinggian tempat 110 m dpl. Penelitian ini dimulai dari 14 Agustus 2015 hingga 15 November 2015. Rancangan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) berpola faktorial. Faktor I adalah perlakuan stratifikasi benih kontrol, disangrai, direndam air dan larutan H2SO4. Faktor II adalah komposisi media tanam yaitu tanah (4:0), tanah+pupuk kandang kambing (3:1), dan  tanah+pupuk kandang kambing+arang sekam (2:1:1). Parameter yang diamati adalah: tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, panjang daun, jumlah daun, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, panjang akar, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F, apabila ada beda nyata antar perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Ganda Duncan (DMRT) pada taraf ketelitian 95% dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan stratifikasi berpengaruh terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, panjang daun dan jumlah daun dan perlakuan komposisi media tanam berpengaruh terhadap variabel pertambahan tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, panjang daun, jumlah daun, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, panjang akar, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar. Interaksi stratifikasi dan media tanam tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua variabel pengamatan pada perkecambahan benih jati.

This research aims to find out: 1). Knowing the best kinds of stratification treatment against seed germination and early seedling growth of teak (Tectona grandis l.). 2). Knowing the type of media the best against the germination and early growth of the seedling of teak (Tectona grandis L.). 3.) know the interactions between treatment stratification and the type of media the best seed germination and growth against the early seedlings of teak (Tectona grandis l.). The research was carried out in the laboratory of Agronomic and Horticultural and Agricultural University Faculty Screenhouse General Soedirman on height 110 m above sea level. This research starts from August 14, 2015 until January 2015. The design used a random Draft i.e. complete (RAL) patterned factorial. The first is treatment stratification seed control, roasted, soaked water and H2SO4 solution. The second factor is growing composition media that is home (4:0), land+manure goats (3:1), and soil + manure goats + charcoal chaff (2:1:1). The observation consisting of: extra tall plant, long hipokotil, wide leaves, long leaves, number of leaves, weights fresh plants, the weighting of dried plants, long roots, fresh weight roots and weights dried root. Data analyzed use the f, if there are different detected between treatment followed by the distance double duncan (DMRT) at standard thoroughness 95% and regression analysis. The result showed treatment stratification influence on variables tall plant, wide leaves, long leaves and number of leaves and treatment composition media growing influence on variables extra tall plant, wide leaves, long leaves, number of leaves, weights fresh plants, weight dried plants, long roots, fresh weight roots and weights dried root. Interaction stratification and media planting has not been affecting the all the variables observations on the germination of seeds teak.
