PENGGUNAAN SINBIOTIK DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP BOBOT DAN PERESENTASE BAGIAN-BAGIAN KARKAS AYAM SENTUL JANTAN

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum ayam Sentul jantan terhadap bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam Sentul jantan umur 2 bulan sebanyak 60 ekor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode experimen in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diuji adalah penggunaan sinbiotik terdiri atas R0 (tanpa sinbiotik), R1 (penggunaan sinbiotik 2%), R2 (penggunaan sinbiotik 4%), R3 (penggunaan sinbiotik 6%). Peubah yang diukur adalah bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rataan bobot paha 301,48 ± 28,07 gram, dengan kisaran bobot paha 280,54 ± 25,91 gram sampai 315,40 ± 46,43 gram, dan persentase paha berkisar antara 23,03 ± 1,19 % sampai 24,02 ± 0,47%, rataan bobot dada 196,02 ± 21,42 gram dan persentase dada sebesar 15,03 ± 1,15%, rataan bobot sayap 109,41 ± 6,82 gram dan persentase sayap 8,59 ± 0,61%, sedangkan rataan bobot giblet 57,48 ± 7,61 gram dan persentase giblet 4,50 ± 0,51%. Hasil Analisis Variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sinbiotik berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase paha, dada, sayap, dan giblet. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan sinbiotik dalam ransum belum mampu meningkatkan bobot dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas ayam Sentul (paha, dada, sayap, dan giblet). `The purpose of research is to investigate of using Sinbiotic in male Sentul chicken feed on the weight and carcass percentage parts. The materials used was male Sentul chicken aged two month as many 60 heads. This reseach was conducted by in vivo experiment method, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The tested treatments were R0 (without sinbiotic), R1 (2% sinbiotic), R2 (4% sinbiotic), and R3 (6% sinbiotic). The research variables were the weight and carcass percentage parts. The results of the study obtained the mean weight of the thigh was 301.48 ± 28.07 grams, with a range of thigh weight of 280.54 ± 25.91 grams until 315.40 ± 46.43 grams, while the thigh percentages ranged from 23.03 ± 1.19 % to 24.02 ± 0.47 %, the mean weight of the chest was 196.02 ± 21.42 gram and the percentage of the chest was 15.03 ± 1.15 %, the mean of wing weight was 109.41 ± 6.82 grams while the wings percentage was 8.59 ± 0.61 %, while the mean of giblet weight was 57.48 ± 7.61 gram and the percentage of giblet was 4.50 ± 0.51 %. The results of the analysis variansi show that the use of sinbiotic gave significant (P>0.05) effect on weights and the percentage of the thigh , the chest , wings , and giblet. The study concludes, the uses of sinbiotic in rations have not been able to raise the weight and carcass percentage parts. (the thigh, the chest, wings, giblet).
