UJI KEMEMPANAN BIO T10, BIO P60 DAN FUNGISIDA TERHADAP PENYAKIT BULAI PADA TANAMAN JAGUNG VARIETAS P-21

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemempanan Bio T10, Bio P60 dan fungisida terhadap penyakit bulai serta pertumbuhan dan produksi pada tanaman jagung varietas P21. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dan lahan jagung di Desa Toyareja, Kecamatan Purbalingga, Kabupaten Purbalingga mulai Januari sampai Juni 2016. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 11 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, terdiri atas kontrol, Bio P60, Bio T10, fungisida bahan aktif fenamidon, dimethomorp dan metalaxyl-M. Variabel pengamatan meliputi masa inkubasi, tingkat keparahan penyakit, intensitas penyakit, laju infeksi, masa perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, waktu berbunga bunga jantan dan betina, bobot basah dan kering, panjang tongkol, jumlah baris, dan jumlah tongkol per tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan gabungan Bio T10 dan fungisida bahan aktif fenamidon, perlakuan fenamidon baik ke benih maupun penyemprotan mempan terhadap penyakit bulai, yang ditunjukkan dengan penundaan masa inkubasi masing-masing sebesar 74,39, 74,9, dan 73,38%, penekanan tingkat keparahan penyakit masing-masing sebesar 62,71, 62,17, dan 51,93%, dan penekanan intensitas penyakit masing-masing sebesar 62,82, 66,98, dan 61,47%. Perlakuan tersebut juga mempan terhadap komponen pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung, yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun, mempercepat waktu berbunga bunga jantan maupun betina, peningkatan bobot basah dan kering tongkol, panjang tongkol, dan jumlah tongkol. Bio P60 dan Bio T10 tunggal mampu mempercepat masa perkecambahan sebesar masing-masing sebesar 44,44 dan 33,33% dibanding kontrol. Akan tetapi, semua perlakuan secara tunggal atau gabungan belum mampu meningkatkan jumlah baris per tongkol tanaman jagung varietas P21.

This research aimed to determine the efective among Bio T10, P60 Bio and fungicides against downy mildew and the growth and production of P21 corn variety. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto and corn fields at Toyareja Village, Purbalingga Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency, from January to June 2016. Randomized block design was used with 11 treatments and three replicates, consisted of control, Bio P60, Bio T10, and fenamidone, dimethomorph, and metalaxyl-M fungicides. The observed variables were incubation period, disease severity, disease intensity, infections rate, period of germination, plant height, number of leaves, flowering period of male and female flowers, wet and dry weight, cobs length, number of cobs’ lines and the number of cobs per plant. Result of the research showed that the combined treatment between Bio T10 and fenamidone active ingredient fungicide either for seed treatment or foliar application could delay incubation period respectively as 74.39, 74.9 and 73.38%, suppress the disease severity respectively as 62.71, 62.17 and 51.93%, and decrease disease intensity respectively as 62.82, 66.98 and 61.47%. The treatment was also effective to growth and yield components, increase the plant height, number of leaves, accelerate male and female flowers flowering time, the wet and dry weight of cobs, cobs length, and the number of cobs. Bio P60 and Bio T10 treatments was able to accelerate the germination period for 44,44 and 33,33% compared to the control. However, all treatments either single or combination was not able to accelerate the number of cobs’ lines of P21 variety corn.
