UJI EFEKTIVITAS BIO T10, BIO P60 SERTA FUNGISIDA TERHADAP PENYAKIT BULAI PADA TANAMAN JAGUNG VARIETAS B18

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Bio T10, Bio P60, dan fungisida dalam mengendalikan penyakit bulai serta terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dan lahan jagung di Desa Toyareja, Kecamatan Purbalingga, Kabupaten Purbalingga mulai Januari sampai Juni 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 11 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, terdiri atas kontrol, perlakuan benih dan penyemprotan Bio P60, perlakuan benih dan penyemprotan Bio T10, penyemprotan Bio P60, penyemprotan Bio T10, perlakuan benih fenamidon dan penyemprotan Bio P60, perlakuan benih fenamidon dan penyemprotan Bio T10, perlakuan benih dan penyemprotan fenamidon, penyemprotan fenamidon, perlakuan benih dimetomorph dan metalaxyl-M. Variabel pengamatan meliputi masa inkubasi, intensitas penyakit, tingkat keparahan penyakit, laju infeksi, masa perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, masa berbunga bunga jantan dan bunga betina, jumlah tongkol pertanaman, bobot basah dan kering tongkol, jumlah baris per tongkol dan panjang tongkol. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan benih dan penyemprotan Bio P60 dan Bio T10 efektif menunda masa inkubasi masing-masing sebesar 36,56% dan 40,02% dibanding kontrol. Perlakuan benih dan penyemprotan Bio P60 efektif terhadap masa perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, dan jumlah daun masing-masing sebesar 53,91%, 9,29%, dan 12,79% dibanding kontrol. Perlakuan penyemprotan Bio T10 efektif terhadap intensitas penyakit bulai dan masa berbunga jantan dan betina masing-masing sebesar 32,35%, 3,98% dan 4,45% dibanding kontrol.

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of Bio T10, P60 Bio, and fungicides in controlling downy mildew and the growth of the corn as well as the yield. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Jendral Soedirman University, Purwokerto, and corn fields in Toyareja Village, Purbalingga subdistrict, Purbalingga, from January to June 2016. This research used a randomized block design with 11 treatments and three replications, which consist of control, seed treatment and foliar application Bio P60, seed treatment and foliar application Bio T10, foliar application Bio P60, foliar application Bio T10, a seed treatment fungicide fenamidon and foliar application Bio P60, a seed treatment fungicide fenamidon and foliar application Bio T10, seed treatment and foliar application fungicide fenamidon, foliar application of fungicide fenamidon, seed treatment of dimetomorph fungicide and metalaxyl-M fungicide. The observed variables are the incubation period, the intensity of the disease, severity of disease, infection rate, the period of germination, plant height, number of leaves, the flowering period of male flowers and female flowers, cobs amount per plant, weight of fresh and dry cob, the number of rows per cob and the length of the cob. The result showed that the seed treatment and foliar application of Bio P60 and Bio T10 effectively able to delay the incubation period respectively by 36.56 dan 40.02% compared to control. Seed treatment and foliar application of Bio P60 effectively acelerate the period of germination, plant height, and the number of leaves respectively by 53.91%, 9.29%, 12.79% compared to control. Foliar application treatment of Bio T10 effectively influencing the intensity of downy mildew and accelerating the male and female flowering period respectively by 32.35%, 3.98% and 4.45% compared to control.
