PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KLON KENTANG (Solanum tuberosum L.) HASIL MUTASI G2 DI DATARAN MEDIUM

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan 1) mengetahui pertumbuhan varietas kentang keturunan pertama hasil mutasi, 2) mengetahui hasil varietas kentang hasil mutasi dan 3) mengetahui klon kentang mutan terbaik di dataran medium. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Bulan Desember 2015 sampai bulan April 2016, bertempat di Desa Ketenger dengan ketinggian 552 mdpl, Kecamatan Baturraden, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan bersekat (Augmented Design) dengan rancangan dasar Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial. Perlakuan yang dicoba adalah umbi hasil mutasi sebanyak 52 knol. Variabel yang diamati meliputi persentase tanaman hidup, tinggi tanaman, jumlah batang, diameter batang, jumlah daun, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tanaman kering, susunan daun, warna daun, jumlah daun menyimpang, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi, bentuk umbi, bobot total umbi per tanaman, warna kulit umbi, dan kebiasaan tumbuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan hanya berpengaruh pada bobot total umbi per tanaman. Mutan kentang yang memiliki kecenderungan unggul dari segi tinggi tanaman adalah D1G3, jumlah batang dan jumlah daun adalah D2A11, bobot tanaman segar adalah D1G2 dan bobot tanaman kering adalah D1G2, diameter umbi adalah D2G2, D1G10, D1M5 dan D2A11, jumlah umbi adalah D1G1, D2G2 dan D2M11, dan bobot total umbi per tanaman adalah D1G3 dan D2G2, Karakter kualitatif berdasarkan variabel bentuk umbi diperoleh varietas atlantik dari bentuk bundar menjadi short-oval (D2A11), mutan granola terdapat perubahan bentuk yaitu tipe bundar (D2G8, D2G2, D1G4, D2G7 dan D1G1), tipe long-oval ( D1G12), dan tipe oval (D1G1) Varietas MZ memiliki prubahan bentuk umbi dari bentuk ¬oval menjadi bentuk short-oval. Berdasarkan variabel warna kulit umbi tidak ada perbedaan pada mutan dan varietas cek. Berdasarkan variabel warna daun terjadi perubahan pada mutan atlantik yaitu dari hijau terang menjadi hijau sedang. Pada variabel kebiasaan tumbuh terjadi perubahan pada varietas atlantik dari agak tegak menjadi tegak dan belum ada mutan dari keturunan pertama yang melebihi varietas cek.

This study was conducted with the purpose of 1) determine the growth of potato varieties first offspring result of mutation, 2) know the results of the mutated potato varieties and 3) determine the best clones mutant potato in medium plain. The research conducted in the months of December 2015 through April 2016, located in the village of Ketenger with a height of 552 meters above sea level, Baturraden subdistrict, Banyumas. The study design was partitioned(AugmentedDesign)with the basic design of a randomized block design (RBD) non factorial. Treatment was attempted tuber result of mutation as much as 52 knol. The observed variables include the percentage of living plants, plant height, stem number, stem diameter, number of leaves, the weight of fresh plants, weight of dried plants, leaf arrangement, leaf color, leaf number deviates, tuber number, diameter bulb, tuber shape, the total weight of tubers per plant, tuber skin color and growth habit. The results showed that the treatment only affects the total weight of tubers per plant. Mutants potatoes that have a tendency to excel in terms of plant height is D1G3, the number of stems and leaves are D2A11, the weight of fresh plants is D1G2 and weight of dried plants is D1G2, the diameter of the bulbs is D2G2, D1G10, D1M5 and D2A11, the number of tubers is D1G1, D2G2 and D2M11, and the total weight of tubers per plant is D1G3 and D2G2, Character qualitative based variable tuber shape obtained varieties Atlantic from a circular shape into a short-oval (D2A11), mutant granola there are changes in the form that is the type of round (D2G8, D2G2, D1G4, D2G7 and D1G1), the type of long-oval (D1G12), and the type of oval (D1G1) varieties MZ has Interchangeability tuber shape of an oval shape into ashape. short-ovalBased on the tuber skin color variable was no difference in the mutant and the check varieties.
