Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik yang bersumber dari pupuk kandang ayam dan kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bayam merah secara vertikultur, 2) untuk mengetahui dosis terbaik dari pupuk kandang ayam dan kandang sapi  dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil bayam merah secara vertikultur, 3) Untuk membandingkan penggunaan pupuk terbaik antara pupuk kandang ayam dan kandang sapi pada bayam merah secara vertikultur. Penelitian dilakukan di screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jendral Soedirman, mulai April sampai Mei 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelomok (RAK) dengan 1 faktor yaitu penggunaan dosis pupuk organik dengan taraf yang berbeda. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot tanaman segar, bobot tajuk segar, bobot akar segar, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar, bobot rata-rata per tanaman. Hasil yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji F. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik, pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dengan dosis 60 g/tanaman memberikan hasil terbaik pada komponen pertumbuhan maupun hasil tanaman bayam merah secara vertikultur.

The purpose of this research are 1) to determine the organic fertilizer of chicken coops and cowsheds which can make effect growth and yield in cultivation of red spinach on verticulture, 2) to find out the best dose fertilizer of chicken coops and cowsheds which can be used to improve growth and yield in cultivation of red spinach on verticulture, 3) to determine the best used of fertilizer among organic fertilizer chicken coops and cowsheds in cultivation of red spinach on verticulture. This research was conducted at screen house Agriculture Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University, from April until May 2016. This research used a randomized block design with one factor that is used of organic fertilizers with different levels. The observed variables in terms were plant high, journal of  leaves, leaf area, weight of fresh plant, weight of fresh canopy, weight of fresh roots, weight of dry plant, weight of dry canopy, weight of dry roots, average weight planting. And the result analyzed by F test. Based on the results of the statistical analysis, the granting of chicken manure with a dose of 60 g/plant gives the best results on the components of growth as well as red spinach plants results in verticulture.
